Horrible experience. Holiday Inn purchased my resort several years ago. Since then, the website doesn’t work, hours waiting on the phone to reach someone to help. Much lower quality than other timeshare companies.

DO NOT BUY HOLIDAY IN CLUB VACATION TIME SHARE ITS A SCAMM! Its a waist of money! We bought and initial 50k points. They made it seem like the best investment ever. Its not no way to actually book anything. All the dates and times are apparently booked by grandfathered members. But if you want to pay out of pocket they will gladly take your money. You can never book anything. We financed this because we are a family of five. So we thought this was a great investment to save money on all the family vacations. Turns out we just pissed it all away. Then we went back for a member meeting. We wanted to say NO because of our experience already. They would not take no for an answer we were there for 8 hours back and fourth saying no and they kept digging until we gave in and upgraded. The finance manager assured us we can call with any questions and book what we needed and we try but never pans out. This is a major scam they pray on the families that don’t have money and are on a fixed budget. Worst experience ever. Nobody ever helps. They make it seem like the best vacation package so easy. So many locations to go to and still have not ever been able to book a vacation with the holiday in club vacation club. IF YOU GO SAY NO!!!!!! They just keep getting you with yearly maintenance. I would not mind paying maintenance if it was something I could actually enjoy. Now with out fixed income I have to try to hire a lawyer to get out of this horrible position I put my family in. Monthly payments that could actually go to a real vacation not the dream they trying to sell you. And when you ask them to buy it back they say no it is yours forever until you pay it of then they tell you that you can relinquish the shares and only then you will no longer be accountable for the maintenance fees. So no I have to pay over 20k to holiday in just because they got me to believe in their product. Its all lies its a way to generate income for their lavish resort. Worst thing I have ever done!

What a complete scam!! I purchased the time share vacation package in august 2021 after staying at a holiday inn club vacations hotel. I received an unsolicited phone call from their sales rep promising a 3 night 4 day vacation at one of their many locations and all I had to do was sit through a presentation. I explained due to covid etc that I wasn’t comfortable purchasing. The sales rep said they would no take my money if we couldn’t attend the purchased vacation within the allotted time. I called today and explained my wife is pregnant and travelling was not in our plans and requested a refund. It was explained the only way to get a refund for the $200 was to travel and do the time share presentation. I inquired about transferring to another person, also not allowed. It HAD TO BE ME AND MY WIFE. Do to our life and circumstances and having a baby on the way, they were not at all accommodating. The only this I could do was extend the package by giving them MORE money! The person on the phone said they sent us 125 emails and after the purchase they sent us the rules regarding our purchase. I explained that prior to getting off the phone with the sales rep he charged my credit card, so how was I supposed to review the rules that they emailed me after purchase? All I requested was our money back, MY money that I gave them with the understanding they would refund us if we could not travel. COMPLETE SCAM we’re now out $200. Customer service with this company is terrible, do not give them a dime. Their sales rep will promise you things that aren’t true. Once they have your money you’re screwed. I can only imagine what they would be like if you purchased a time share. STAY AWAY!

The properties are great getting my room key for myself and 8 guest are terrible with the high pressure to attend another sales pitch which is part of the fine print the contract is very one sided they want you to walk away to resell your inventory please think twice for there is no easy way out not a happy owner joe

I honestly don't even know how these people still in business, after all the scamming they been doing and still do. seriously! the worst People, the worst customer service on the planet, DONT FALL FOR THESE PEOPLE!!!!!!!!! BE VERY CAREFULL!!!! SAHME ON YOU IHG for having a scammers on you rewards program!

This company that claims this is a wonderful product, will not let you out of your contract without paying off the property. If this was so great then they should be happy to take it back and resell it with the profit they have already made off of you but they are greedy. This is definitely a SCAM and do not get sucked into this black hole of debt. Because even if you pay it off, they will still charge you over $1000 a year for maintenance fees.

Do not fall for this scam. It might be nice to hear free seven days, $50 credit, etc., but it truly is a scam. Don’t even waste your time listening to the presentation. From the beginning, a terrible experience and we had to walk out. Family of 5, lost my ID at the Disney park, husband had his along with major credit card, I had another form which is accepted by TSA, but they wouldn’t because it didn’t verify our marriage. When does an ID verify a marriage? Total waste of our time
