I deeply regret my experience with the Holiday Inn timeshare program. What was supposed to be a benefit has turned into a significant financial burden for both me and my family. At nearly $10,000 a year, the cost of this investment is overwhelming and prevents me from supporting my family the way I should. Instead of being able to take my loved ones—my two sisters, two nieces, and three grand nephews—on meaningful vacations, I am tied to this timeshare that doesn't deliver the value promised. It's now a source of stress rather than enjoyment. The burden of this expense has also forced me to delay addressing personal needs, like vital dental work, as I simply cannot manage everything financially. My family depends on me, and this timeshare has made it incredibly difficult to provide the support and stability they deserve. I strongly advise anyone considering a timeshare with Holiday Inn to think very carefully about the long-term costs and their impact. For me, this has been an extremely negative and regretful experience.

Zero Stars - I can’t believe how many fees this company piles on. There’s an annual fee that keeps going up, and you’re stuck paying it forever. Then, if you can’t use your points because there’s no availability, guess what? Another fee just to keep them. It’s like they’ve got fees for everything, but when it comes to actual Customer Service or showing a shred of compassion? Nothing. I honestly regret ever getting involved with them. It feels like such a betrayal—like I trusted them, and they completely let me down. If you’re thinking about doing business with them, don’t. Save your money and your peace of mind. Their sales presentations are full of empty promises, and you’ll end up regretting it like I do.

I had a very disappointing experience with Holiday Inn Timeshares and wouldn’t recommend it to anyone. First, the lack of flexibility is frustrating. They claim you can vacation on your terms, but that’s not true. You can only book on their available dates, forcing you to schedule around them. To get dates close to what you want, you need to plan 1–2 years in advance, which is unreasonable. I’ve also dealt with ongoing account issues. Earlier this year, my sister used my timeshare account to book a trip, and they somehow changed the account name to hers. Despite multiple calls and speaking with the deeding department—who confirmed I’m the rightful owner—the issue still hasn’t been fixed months later. The resort service is another problem. At Orange Lake Resort in Florida, my brother and his fiancé stayed on the 8th floor, but both elevators were out of service. They had to carry a baby and luggage up the stairs. How is this acceptable? Then there’s the cost. Annual fees keep rising with no improvement in service. On top of that, they pressure you to attend upgrade meetings during your stays, which feels unprofessional and pushy. Management has done nothing to resolve my concerns. I’m sharing this because I don’t want anyone else to go through what I did. Staying at South Beach, or really any Holiday Inn Club Vacation resort, was a huge mistake. The whole experience felt like one big sales trap—pushy pitches at every turn, trying to rope you into a contract that basically locks you into paying fees forever. It’s infuriating and honestly feels like a betrayal of trust. The quality of the resort? Not even close to being worth the hassle. Do yourself a favor—spend your hard-earned money somewhere else. Trust me, you’ll thank yourself later.

The fees never end, and they always increase! We have tried to end our membership, but their customer service does not care about us our our situation. I wish we would have known better than to believe their sales presentation. What a mistake! Spend your money elsewhere.

This experience has been an absolute onslaught of fees. They definitely do not give you the reality of what you are purchasing when they give their sales presentations. They only gave us a few days to change our mind, but it takes much longer than that to realize what you fell for. Our fees keep increasing with no end in sight. It is much cheaper for us to vacation through other avenues and have far more availability. Stay away.

I wish I had a time machine, so I could go back in time and tell myself to never believe anything someone from Holiday Inn tells me. I would save myself so much money and headache! They misrepresent what you are signing up for and now I am stuck in a contract. The customer service is abysmal as well!

I wish I could give zero stars for the terrible experience we’ve had with Holiday Inn Club Vacations. Back in 2012, we got some information about Orange Lakes Resort, and it seemed promising at first. Curious, we went to Orange Lakes for a tour and ended up in their sales office. What followed was a super high-pressure sales pitch that left us feeling really uncomfortable. The whole atmosphere felt like a factory designed to pressure people into signing agreements. Our main contact was Jorge Trejo, but there were plenty of other reps involved, all trying to sell us on the “benefits” of their plan. Even though we were hesitant, they kept piling on the pressure, throwing in bonuses to try and sweeten the deal. The meeting dragged on for almost four hours, and despite feeling uneasy the entire time, we were basically manipulated into thinking it was a “good deal.” Since then, this so-called “deal” has only caused stress for our family. The ownership hasn’t been worth it at all, and the promises they made during the sales pitch haven’t come close to reality. We feel stuck and misled by their aggressive tactics. Holiday Inn Club Vacations needs to step up and fix this situation. I honestly can’t recommend this to anyone.
