This is the worst background check company I have had the misfortune of dealing with, complete harassment of the worker, wanting you provide all the details for their job for them, aren't you the background check company??? received 10 emails in the space of 5 minutes this morning repeating ridiculous requests. asking for print outs when I have no access to a printer and WE ARE IN THE MIDDLE OF A PANDEMIC. very very angry with the HireRight system.

BRUTAL beyond belief!!!! These clowns almost cost me a job they took so long. Their online automated service is seriously flawed and didn't work, forcing me to manually enter info, which turned into 6 weeks of back and forth emails. My start date had long ago passed. Completely useless staff and product, no regard for timelines, conflicting information from live chat person (which took hours to go back and forth) and email support. I spent nearly a week of my personal time managing these clowns to get this done. DO NOT USE THEM IF YOU ARE AN EMPLOYER, AND WATCH THEM LIKE A HAWK IF YOU ARE GETTING A REFERENCE CHECK DONE. Guaranteed they will screw it up.

I never have any issues with background check except HireRight. Their employees don't know how professionals do for background check, don't know proper manners, and don't know to respect candidates.
