I've never went through so unsolid and ridiculous background check. In my opinion company that uses hireright services simply loosing money. Through whole process I was just asked to scan, send and provide all documentation myself. There was zero check or analytics job in it. I could just deliver this documentation directly to my future employer. During the process I've clearly notified "researchers" that I'm on the holiday and will provide documentation with week delay. Day after this call I've received another one with the same question. That was really indescribable level of data gathering skill. At the end of process, when whole documentation should be send to the employer I was again asked to provide some documentation - which was already uploaded on hireright account. I've literally uploaded same document again. Constant emails and reminders from system wasn't clear enough why I have to do that, so I had to reach help myself. Really hoping those all my data won't leak at some point. I really advise against trying to work there or using this company services.

Trying to upload an ID file which is required for the background check and to progress the verification process and the system cannot accept it. I reached out to them through the live chat and was told to just ignore it and upload later, but you can't because its a required step in the background process? I said this and the agent on the chat just disconnected. I was passed to another person who said 'try using google chrome'.. I was already on Chrome. Possibly the worst customer service. Taking over an hour to fill out 4 pages of content? How do these guys get contracts with industry partners?

Most garbage UI, garbage process, and infuriating to complete.

Cost me my job at Barclays Bank. I have absolutely nothing on my credit file and nothing on my police background. Sent every document asked for regarding previous work history and school background. Due to start work tomorrow but Barclays have said failed the hire right checks disgusting company ruining lives! Past my checks with hmrc 6 months ago without any issues!

These wasters of your time, will require you to type in all the exact same data from your resume into their online format. After I did that and submitted it. They got confused about the date of my GED which I completed in 1995. They sent me a noreply email stating, That I listed getting my GED in 2001 and this is inconsistent with the results of their investigation. They are requiring me to upload/scan the GED certificate via their crappy online portal. I responded through their portal that I have 2 degrees from the same school, the GED in 1995 and Voc. Electrical in 2001.(All this is on my resume and in the data I already provided them) And, I sent photographs of both certificates. They replied via noreply email that the images were blurry and or blank, and that they needed to see legible documents, send them again. I ended up Faxing them and I'm still waiting for these blind fools to finish with their confusion over a picture of a 30 year old GED certificate.

Worst company i have ever had to deal with. I repeatedly sent the info they asked for yet they kept asking for the same info. After about one hour of trying to contact their joke of a CS department i was shouted at by someone and told there was no way to speak to a manager or be put through to a complaints department. She could not wait to get me off the phone. As a result i will now miss my start date because of their incompetence and there is no way to hold them accountable. If anyone else ever hears of this company in connection with applying for a job just do not bother. The reviews on here are fully accurate and i can not understand why any company would ever use these scammers. It looks like a total phishing operation. Beware and run a mile if they are involved.

Incompetent people. Not surprised all ratings are 1s. Hated talking to the people. They had me sit on hold for 30 min and then tell me to call back later because the team had gone home.

Horrible company! They basically does not do anything, asking for documents you have sent in already, does not call any of the phone numbers you provide. The whole process is so stressful, never again!!
