Extremely slow and ridiculously intrusive top secret type clearance review for a part time remote job. Requesting tax returns, W2, pay stubs, college transcripts is unacceptable and the ver the top. How do I know you will protect the large file of personal Information you are requesting and maintaining ning in your fikes. The most intrusive review I have ever had in 30 years of work. Why?

Absolutely horrible!!!! You will be homeless dealing with this company. Find another job if you have to go through HireRight, they are completely wrong. They should be checking with social number and birthday. Not similar names and partial social security. I've been waiting past a week for them to get records from Arkansas, I'VE NEVER BEEN TO ARKANSAS and called the sheriffs office myself just for them to verify that I'm not in their system. And Hempstead, co, AR does not have a records department. So I called HireRight and told them who to call, that didn't help This company needs to be out of business. They are playing with peoples lives.. I don't have a record anywhere This is BS. Ya'll need to get it together

What a incompetent company! Lord. Wasted much of my time. Held up a job opportunity that I have been waiting on. Continued to send me the same automated email regarding information that they needed from me that I have sent 3 times now. Called customer service. The woman on the phone had a 8th grade level of knowledge telling me they can not check emails and whether they have received my 4th email. Horrible, Horrible company. These people are suppose to be doing an investigation on people??? What a JOKE!!!!!!!

Had an awful experience with this company. Good luck getting your background verified if they are doing it.

Hireright has enough time and people to answer bad comments here, but they did not have enough people to get the call. you guys need to go to the customer and answer the call. I am waiting for an hour and no one can help me!!!!!!! If I can rate "0", I will not hesitate to do that.

I am going through the background check now and I agree with negative reviews. Very slow and ineffective process, lack of communication and delays. One of the HR managers in my previous roles was contacted by HR and he gave me a negative feedback as well - poorly written emails, links that don’t work and phone numbers that don’t match. I never had to deal with problems and delays during background checks, so that’s quite an unpleasant surprise.

Staff are slow & incompetent. My background check has been going on for 3 weeks and the start date with my new employer has been pushed out twice now as a result. Constantly being asked to re-upload documents as apparently I have not provided them when they were uploaded to the applicants portal days prior. Also having to re-upload documents with specific information highlighted as HR staff seem to be incapable of reading documents & finding the information themselves. The most recent issue is that they can’t verify my most recent employment even though I have provided a reference, pay slips and my contract. Such a frustrating company, the 1 star reviews speak for themselves. Avoid at all costs.

I would put zero but unable to . I filled out the prefilled application I was unable to correct the misinformation from prefilled . Along with unable to to put in my Diploma. I called Monday first thing and spoke to a gentleman and explained the situation he apologized saying they did were having issues with their computer system not to worry just upload W2 and Diplomas along with transcripts. I did I uploaded all my diplomas along with all my W2 dating years back . They informed me today that report was being sent back as discrepancies and not being honest ! I explained the malfunction in the computer prefilled and that I spoke to a gentleman Monday and explained I submitted W2 and diplomas . The lady again said we can not change your information. I’m so upset that this professional company does not accept their fault . Also I was told I would get a call back from 12:00 this morning I did not I called and was on hold for 3 hours yes 3 hours . Only to find that they will not correct the computer prefilled as I was unable to and called Monday morning to let them know told not to worry just send in W2 along with diploma which I did . And it is not acceptable??? Now I risk looking like a liar to the hiring company and have to call and explain . This is not a professional company at all.
