DO NOT USE THIS SERVICE! Operates under company name: backgroundchecks.com This is not a reputable service company in the United States. My security company recently merged with another new company, and their wait time to vet my 20 year old business with a new application after I’d already a longtime client with their merged company - was too long, so I went searching for another one. I came across this company doing a search and they immediately asked for my credit card information, and once I gave it, they added charges before I was even doing business with them. For doing NOTHING! I’ve been trying to get those charges reversed for a week now, and dealing with this company has been an absolute nightmare! If I could give ZERO stars I would. They are not legitimate as a USA security company, and they hopefully will not be doing business much longer in the United States. AVOID AT ALL COSTS!

Hi Team, The company is very good, but the management which is sitting in the bangalore location (ITPL) is very bad. They wont hire the persons who have good experience in back ground verification and who worked for same process as well. The top mangement is very bad and wrost. We don't want to take the names, you can idenitify who and all. So please change the management from the upper level and give to the better person, who understand the needs of the job. If a person who is closer to the manager, then they will hire to that person. Who doesn't have the knowledge and he will be big bucket to the him. So Its a humble request to remove all the managers and team leads, and take the new managers for this company which is located in ITPL. Hope you understand and make the changes and keep the good name of the company.

Three weeks for a background check. I called the supposed county that was "under a cyber attack" and they said the only reason why they haven't gotten back to them is because they received the wrong date of birth on the request.

The background check took so long that my start date got pushed back four times, the customer service personnel were professional and timely but the company as a whole is incompetent.

Una malísima gestión.Al final acaba el mismo candidato haciendo toda la investigación y aportando todo el papeleo en persona en vez de que lo haga este"mediador"o bien prestador de servicio.A lo mejor los candidatos en la misma manera tienen que pedir a las impresas información sobre la solvencia que tienen, sentencias de conflictos pasados con los ex empleados, información sobre maltrato y incidencias con sus empleados pasados... El contrato laboral es marco legal de dos partes , por una parte el empleado y por otra el empleador que segun la ley se supone son igualitarios.

Absolute worst experience dealing with HireRight. Basic background check that ended with "no results found and meets company standards" in every category took 16 days. I called customer service a couple of times and that was even worse. The language barrier each time made the conversation useless and unbearable. If I was an employer I would NEVER consider using this company.

I am currently dealing with the exact same issues everyone else seems to be having. I am doing all the work for them. This is ridiculous and I will be reaching out to HR about how painful this is. Absolutely horrible.

I've been working for over 20 years and have had SEVERAL background checks, and this company, HireRight, is by far the worst I've dealt with. Outsourced and incompetent employees. They don't understand what they need or want you to upload. I'm wondering if they can read English. They sent me several emails with generic templates, leaving you guessing what they need or is incorrect. You are basically doing all of the work for them. I highly recommend that employers read reviews before they consider using HireRight. They have many terrible reviews online. In the future, I'd think twice before accepting a role from any company using HireRight. They must be cheap because I don't understand why any company would use them. I recommend letting your employer know about the issues you are experiencing with HireRight since they are paying for it. I also encourage everyone having a problem with HireRight to file a complaint with their local BBB and state's attorney's office.
