Oscar may be the worst healthcare provider on the market today. They continue to decline medically necessary medications, indicating my doctor didn't provide enough information to show the medication is necessary. When the meds are sent to the pharmacy, they are automatically declined on the spot. Then, when you request a prior authorization, they take the full 2 weeks to make a decision, and that decision is to decline the request. Stay as far away from this company as you can.

Advice, access, and costs... I've received terrible/varying advice from different internal resources. Access to diabetes medicine and supplies has decreased. In addition to Rx access, many doctors do NOT have a relationship with Oscar. It took me 10 days just to find an orthopedic that would accept Oscar while dealing with an achilles rupture. Costs have increased. I changed insulin brands to their preferred brand. Costs are greater than my old brand. Insulin counts towards your deductible... and is not congruent with NJ state law.

Most horrible insurance company I have ever dealt with! Months and years later they audit your claims then you can't get money back from the provider you paid to pay the other provider you now owe money to. Claims disappear from your claim's history, they tell you the claim was denied but there is no evidence in your history regarding that. In fact, the evidence in your history is the opposite. If you don't meet your deductible, they are ok but the minute you meet your deductible they do everything in their power to deny your claims and go back and forth with denials and approvals, changing what you owe or have paid providers. They are of no assistance when you message them for help. They just tell you what you can see yourself in your history. Avoid them at all costs.

Went to a specialist who has staff speaking in another language in front of customers who don't speak it, couldn't find a vein and they bruised my arms bad, treated me like a circus freak and the office manager was the worst, she was quite dismissive of my concerns. I now can't find a better specialist because the ones I call are automated or you get hung up on. Oscar is poor with customer service and especially trying to find specialists. I'm canceling them today I guess you get what you paid for.

Oscar Health tried to enroll me without my consent. Sent me a bill for $862 dollars. I called customer service and they said they could not give me any information on the bill until I gave them all the details of my Bank debit card or a visa or a Mastercard. I continuously refused and was hung up on by 3 different agents.

This company doesn't care about you at all. After 8 months of hurting with it only getting worse, they denied request for an mri twice!! Being told, basically, that the use of my hands is not life altering and the mri is not medically necessary.
