DO NOT USE THEM!!!! Can’t find a doctor who will take them. They don’t cover what they say. I wouldn’t pay 0ne cent for this trash.

Due to aUnprofessional Service and Costly Errors: My Experience with Oscars Insurance" representative at Oscars…
Due to a representative at Oscars Insurance providing incorrect information, I ended up paying taxes twice, amounting to $1300—money I couldn't afford. I asked the representative if I would still have to pay if my income exceeded the $35,000 limit required by the insurance. He assured me not to worry, so I earned more than the limit during my first year with Oscars Insurance, resulting in me paying $1300.
Two years later, I canceled my account through the APP before exceeding my income limit. However, at the end of the year, when I filed my income taxes, it showed that I had gone over the $35,000 limit for the insurance to be free. Consequently, I owe another $1300 this year, which I cannot afford. This happened because representatives in the company did not cancel my account when I had canceled it earlier through the app, before exceeding the $35,000 limit. This experience has shown me that Oscars Insurance is a very unprofessional company where representatives do not know what they are doing. It is a horrible company.

Like so many have already said
Like so many have already said. Oscar is the worst insurance company I have ever dealt with. No one else seems really close. My wife had a stroke and they kicked her out of the hospital before she was ready and they put ridiculously low number sessions for her much-needed speech and occupational therapy. Stay away at all costs!

It is truly disheartening
It is truly disheartening. After being with this insurance company for so many years and paying $300 a month without significant issues, I recently experienced a gastro crisis that required several examinations. I was finally diagnosed and prescribed medication that worked amazingly well. However, my insurance company, Oscar, refused to cover it. I have been through an incredibly difficult time trying to get them to approve anything. Even after my doctor did a peer-to-peer review, they still denied the medication. This company is atrocious, and no one should be with them. I am deeply saddened for anyone who continues to be a part of this insurance company.

worst insurance I have ever had
worst insurance I have ever had. Went through so many obstacles to file a claim for a COVID test that they were SUPPOSED to cover $200 and never paid me back 2 years later and they still say its "pending." They just responded to this review and said to "email them." For the record, I have called their company a minimum of10 times in the past 2 years to get this issue fixed so obviously they are not capable of fixing this issue.

Bye Oscar
I found Oscar Health on healthcare marketplace after finding out that Friday health insurance dropped North Carolina for coverage. Obamacare showed them as being in network for my facility, so I thought I was good to go. I paid my first couple of premiums and scheduled for a physical with my primary care doc as I needed a prescription refilled for a critical drug. Oscar totally denied the claim and would not pay saying my doctor was out of network. Turns out my facility and even my doctor was in network but only if I was a company employee rather than self-employed. Oscar would not pay a cent on the physical, or the labs so I was stuck with $700 in charges while Oscar continued to harass me for more premiums. I of course dropped them like a hot rock, and have since read many other negative reviews. Their website is hioscar.com, but I say, bye Oscar! A one star rating is generous!

If I could write a review without…
If I could write a review without giving stars, I would. I’m scheduled to have a complete radical hysterectomy due to the possibility of ovarian cancer (multiple tests and Labs indicate cancer) and they denied my surgery. Stating I should give medication a chance to treat my symptoms- so they are disregarding the tumor that is steadily growing. I find it insane that someone looking at a paper can determine one’s health necessities and override a doctor/surgeon that has actually seen and examined me!! They do not care about the client/patient and I guarantee they wouldn’t make the same decision if it was their loved one.

I wish I could give them 0 stars!
I wish I could give them 0 stars!! I am diabetic and have been on the same medication for years. I chose Oscar because my doctor participated with the plan. Now Oscar is denying the same medications I’ve been taking for years that had my numbers in a good range. I was as even losing weight! My doctor’s office has submitted the documents they requested 3 times to try to get my medication approved and they just keep sending back the same letter. DO NOT SIGN UP WITH OSCAR!! They are TERRIBLE!!!
