False Advertising and Delayed Care
False Advertising and Delayed Care. Wisp claims that prescriptions are typically reviewed within 1–2 hours and that “most prescriptions are sent to your pharmacy within 3 hours” — but that was not my experience. I completed my medical intake and was told medication would be sent to my pharmacy the same day. Instead, it took over 24 hours before anything was sent — forcing me to go to urgent care and pay out of pocket just to get the treatment I needed. When I reached out, I was told the “standard turnaround time” is actually 24 hours, which directly contradicts their own statement above. Despite the clear delay and false advertising, they refused to issue a refund, saying the prescription had already been processed. This was a frustrating and disappointing experience. If you need timely care, don’t rely on Wisp — go to urgent care or your local clinic instead.
