have had a signature plan for 4 years with poor results!!!
have a signature plan for 4 years. technician was ok, but said that hello super didn't cover maintenance on the air conditioner line that was clogged? really? that's maintenance?? its repair!!! cost me 95 on the call out and 150 to unclog the line. this is just a ploy to not pay for legitimate expenses. hello super also says if you have ac maintenance program, it's still not covered!

One star is generous.
One star is generous.
We have filed seven claims with Super Home Warranty. Only one has actually resulted in a repair, and that was a minor plumbing issue.
Our latest claim is for a refrigerator that Super’s own technician already inspected and determined is dead. Now Super wants to send ANOTHER technician out to confirm that the refrigerator is, in fact, still dead.
This will make three separate days I have had to take off work for this refrigerator claim.
When I previously called to discuss the claim, representative Aman refused to speak with me because my wife’s name is on the account. I verified her information and explained that she was at work. He still refused.
I asked Aman to show me where the agreement says only my wife can discuss the account. He admitted that requirement is not in the agreement. I then asked for a supervisor. He refused that too.
So the process apparently works like this: collect your money, send a technician, receive confirmation that the appliance is dead, refuse to discuss the claim, refuse a supervisor, and then make the homeowner take yet another day off work so a second technician can confirm the exact same thing.
Seven claims. One repair. Three days off work for one dead refrigerator.
If this is Super’s normal process, the company is incompetent. If it isn’t, someone should probably explain that to their employees.
And if your realtor recommends or provides a Super Home Warranty, you may want to find a new realtor too. Either they did not adequately research the company they were recommending, or they really do not like you very much.
Avoid Super Home Warranty.

I have been with them for 4 years and…
I have been with them for 4 years and in the last few months they are finding every reason possible to deny my claims. I am not sure if they are in financial trouble or what, but I WOULD NOT sign on with them in 2026 or 2027. I was happy the first 2.5 years but they have been terrible lately and a big source of frustration.

Continuous Repair Delays and policy…
Continuous Repair Delays and policy loopholes.
I am writing to warn consumers about my ongoing, unacceptable experiences with Super Home Warranty over the past 5 years.
1. Severe Negligence & Incompetent Service (Refrigerator)
Over a three-year period, Super Home Warranty sent service technicians to my home several separate times for the exact same recurring issue with my refrigerator failing to cool or freezing my food. Over that time, I lost hundreds of dollars in spoiled groceries due to their inability to resolve the problem. It became clear they contract with unqualified technicians: only after numerous failed repair attempts did they finally send a qualified technician who diagnosed and fixed the issue in under an hour.
2. Lack of Policy Transparency
Their business model relies on charging non-refundable service fees while keeping coverage terms completely opaque. You cannot know whether a repair is covered until a technician physically assesses it. For example, they charged me a $75 service fee just to look at a broken button on a refrigerator water dispenser, only to inform me afterward that the issue wasn't covered. It is impossible to navigate what is or isn't covered without being forced to pay $75 first.
3. Failure to Resolve Issues with policy loopholes.
The final straw occurred this week with a leaking sink. The assigned technician claimed they could not find replacement parts so the entire sink needed to be replaced. Because I didn't purchase the added sink replacement coverage, Super Home Warranty simply took my $75 service fee and told me I was on my own to replace the sink myself. Whether this is due to technician incompetence or intentional policy loopholes, the result is the same: paying $75 for zero resolution.
Super Home Warranty consistently takes customer money while failing to deliver reasonable service or clear coverage terms.

We have been without Ac for 11 days
We have been without Ac for 11 days. Our AC is 3 years old. Installed by a service company super home provided. New inside and outside unit plus a new nest thermostat. But they used the old wiring to the thermostat and our old flue, who knows what other old parts they used. Our aC went out a few weeks ago. It was down about 4-5 days before their service company showed up. It turned on the day before he came and he couldn’t find anything wrong. This was the second time it went down in 2 weeks. Both times the unit turned back on. We had them check it out. He couldn’t figure out the problem. When it went down a third time on a Thursday and this time it didn’t turn back on. They couldn’t come back out until Tuesday. 100 plus in Texas. We did reach out again and he got here Monday. He was here 3-4 hours asking us for a manual and calling the manufacturer. I understand calling the manufacturer. But why send the same guy as last time and since it’s a recall super would only use the same company. He recommended a tune up or cleaning and stated it should be done every 5 years. Reminder this unit is 3 years old. They could do it for $400. He said we can use a different company they neee to be licensed. Monday he stated the part would be here Wednesday and he would be his first stop. 11:30 rolls around no tech or call. I reached out to the service company. They said someone would call back. They called my wife and said we needed to do the cleaning first for $400. This is a warranty part their second trip here. They are holding a free warranty part for more money. I called them and asked why. I have another company coming tomorrow for the cleaning. I reached out and spoke with 5 different companies. Their prices $90 to $180 for the cleaning. I guess they thought because of the heat. We would be an easy target. The answering service sounds like a third party from another country. They were hard to understand. They wouldn’t connect me to a manager. I don’t advise using this company or the vendors they recommend.

Do NOT give Super your business
My wife and I bought our first home earlier this year and purchased a home warranty through Super for peace of mind. 4 days ago, on a Saturday morning, our hot water heater broke, causing a crack in the ignition housing, rendering it unusable and leaving us without hot water. Our utility company labeled it as a “hazard.”
We immediately filed a claim through Super, who assigned a local servicer. Unfortunately, it seems Super will not assign servicers on weekends, so we patiently waited until Monday. On Monday, we attempted to call the servicer- they were unreachable. On Tuesday, the servicer responded, saying they are out of town until August 8, 11 days from now (two weeks from our original claim date).!
Again, we immediately contacted Super, who said they would find a new servicer. Half the day goes by and the original servicer is still assigned on our app, so we call again to follow up. They say their contract team needs 24-48 hours to find a new servicer (we live in a massive metropolitan area, literally 10 miles from their headquarters). So, we are expected to wait another 1-2 days, and then hope the new servicer has immediate availability. Otherwise, it will be over a week before someone is even out to look at it!
My wife and I are both nurses; we work in the hospital. Hot showers and hot water for washing our scrubs are not a luxury- they are necessary. Super seems intent on delaying this as much as possible, likely to increase our frustration and force us to pay for this ourselves. They do not seem interested in helping honest, hard working people or providing the services that we PAID for. I strongly recommend you do not give your business to Super; we highly regret giving them ours.

Zero customer support or accountability
This company doesn’t stand by the customer. They sent a contractor to my house who never finished the permit process. The inspection failed on a technicality (paperwork missing) and 4.5 YEARS later, I’m fighting on my own to get the process concluded. The contractor won’t respond and Super keeps saying they’ll help but they don’t. Stay away.

I am very disappointed with Super…
I am very disappointed with Super (hellosuper.com) and would not recommend their service.
I have been paying for a Super home warranty plan for the past four years. When my dishwasher broke down and I finally needed to use the service, nothing was repaired and nothing was covered. It makes me wonder why I have been paying a monthly subscription fee all these years if issues like this are excluded. In fact, I could have purchased a brand-new dishwasher with the money I have spent on the subscription.
The contractor who came to inspect my dishwasher was rude and unprofessional. After the inspection, I was simply told that nothing would be covered and that I would be responsible for handling and paying for everything myself.
This was a very frustrating experience and not what I expected after being a loyal customer for four years.
