The worst warranty company I have ever had. It is easy to open a claim and they are really fast charging for the first appointment, but that is all they do, trying to get a report about the claim takes weeks and many phone calls from you asking for it. Many times they told me they were going to call me back and they never did. I have opened two claims and both have been denied.

Very incompetent agents. Do not use this company. They do not cover items that are clearly listed as covered items on the policy. Even if you point the policy language from the contract, theyll come up with the dumbest excuse to deny your claim. If you have issues with this company, make sure you file a complaint with the states department of insurance department & look into filling a chargeback with your bank if they dont fix the issue.

This company looks for any way to get out of paying. Their rep told me that Super did not have a plumber to stop the tub from leaking in my basement, and that I should get my own plumber, have it fixed, and sent Super the bill. I did this. Super won't pay because I didn't get it approved before the repairs were completed even though the repairs are CLEARLY covered in my policy. Also, I followed THEIR rep's instructions exactly. SCAM SCAM SCAM!!! Do NOT use this company!!

SUPER HOME WARRANTY IS A SHAM! WE HAVE A SIMPLE WATER HEATER REPLACEMENT CONFIRMED BY THEM AND THEIR CONTRACTOR 4 DAYS AGO AND NO WORK ORDER FORTHCOMING. 4-5 PHONE CALLS EACH DAY AND WE SPEAK WITH A DIFFERENT LIAR EACH TIME SAYING THEY ARE WORKING ON IT. THEY HAVE NO CUSTOMER SERVICE NOR INTEREST IN SOLVING THE PROBLEM BECAUSE THEY DONT WANT TO PAY FOR YOUR REPAIR

Beware of this company. We bought our house a year ago. We purchased the super lux plan. Our issue is nearly identical to the last review and a few others. Please read the other reviews before buying. The five star reviews must be from employees or corporate reps of some kind. This was supposed to be a comprehensive plan.We have had numerous issues with this company. The most recent is our AC unit going out. They have sent out Toro HVAC multiple times since June to service AC units due to not blowing cold air. This time, the recommended repair was nearly $3900. Of course, it was denied. Their reason was conveniently poor maintenace. In their notes for the prior visits, it said the units were clean and well maintained. Now, they are saying the unit is unit and they excludes coverage. They were just out to our home 3 weeks prior and no issues with the unit being dirty. We have had the units professionally cleaned and serviced this summer. I'm not sure how often they expect you to have a unit professionally cleaned. It had only been a couple months since getting them professionally cleaned and serviced. What a scam! It's interesting because the last review appears to be an identical situation.

My A/C unit has been out for so many days I can’t even count without resolution. I bought the plan with all the add-ons “it’s covered” and the specific upgrade HVAC plan coverage that is suppose to cover just about everything… well that is how it was sold to me and Super has refused to pay for anything and always comes up with bogus “maintenance” reasons not to cover it. These contracted technicians have to be getting a bonus for finding ways to not cover things. Absolutely do NOT use this company. This business is fraudulent. They told me a technician couldn’t repair my A/C bc of personal reasons so they would send a new service tech and then told me nvm it was denied & a system sent that message by mistake. Avoid at all cost.

Terrible company structure, awful customer service, horrible vendors they hire…this company is a scam. The positive reviews must certainly be from employees to boost the score. Don’t subscribe and if you have, get out now!

The one star is for the call center. The people you speak with when you first call are very polite and have great customer service. The actual process of getting something fixed is AWFUL. I had 2 HVAC companies (not through Super) come to my house and let me know the system was broken and they quoted me over $10k for a new one. I contacted Super because they were my home warranty at the time and the initial process is pretty easy and fast. You make a request for the service needed in the app, pick dates you’re available for a vendor to come over and then it’s scheduled. Because there were still heavy covid protocols, it took about a week for the contractor to come to my house for my broken HVAC in May 2021. The contractor told Super several times that I needed a new system. My dog and I spent the entire summer without A/C because Super went back and forth with the contractor asking for duplicate information. I had to call Super almost every day to get updates on what was happening because they would say, “you’ll receive a call on X day” and of course that never happened. The contractor, who came to my house several times, felt bad for me and brought his supervisor to my home where they ended up cleaning the system as best they could to get me some cool air, while they kept telling Super I needed a brand new system. I completely understood that parts and materials were on back order and delayed. I was willing to wait and just continue buying fans to make it bearable in my unit. Super never even offered to put a portable A/C unit in my home to help with the temperature (& the cost of my electricity bills!). By the time October rolled around, they still hadn’t made any movement to order me a new HVAC system, after having the contractor come to my home several times for measurements and whatever other information they needed. Then they just decided that my issue was fixed because it was no longer too hot in my home. Super never made any forward movement to getting me a new HVAC, even though that’s what the contractor they hired said I needed. I do not suggest this home warranty to new home owners as Super will do everything in their power to save themselves money and make your life miserable while hiding behind the nice call center employees. I am now having similar issues with my HVAC unit and will now have to go out of pocket because Super never assisted they way they should have.
