When I started my business I researched a lot of platforms for invoices, contracts, and proposals. As a creative agency, Bonsai seemed the best to fit our needs. I had been exploring Hello Bonsai for over a year before I decided to jump on board. The two things that grabbed me was their continuous improvement of the software and the fact that it is fit for the freelancer. I am a freelance Web Application Developer, and I wanted something that would allow me to manage my invoicing, time tracking, estimated quarterly taxes, and income without complicating things and taking away from my focus on what generates the income. Also, I love how responsive the support team is. You message them from right within the app, and someone will get back to you, most of the time, within a few hours.

I'm an animator and use Bonsai mainly for creating contracts between me and my clients. The process for creating and editing contracts is very well thought out and Bonsai also makes getting my contracts signed a breeze. I also appreciate that there is a dual mode so I can create contracts for my clients but can also create contracts between myself and other designers who I might pull in to work on the same project – clever stuff! I never used to bother with contracts but it's such a relief to have found a way of protecting myself that is very quick and easy to implement. I haven't used the invoicing tools as yet but I can see myself using them to keep track of invoices when things get busy. Overall I've been really impressed with Bonsai and would certainly recommend it to anyone operating as a sole trader or LLC. I've only really scratched the surface of what the software can do but it already pays for itself for the time it saves me and the peace of mind I get from having decent contracts drawn up and agreed with my clients.

I have been using this product for a couple of years as a startup. It is great to send out the invoice and proposal. Also love the user experience.
