BonsaiReviews of hellobonsai.com

I was looking for a platform that would make all things freelance easier. So glad I found Bonsai. I love how I can invoice and write contracts all in one platform. One of my favorite features is the reminder email for invoices. Only thing is I wish you could remove the fee structure but other than that I enjoy it!

Bonsai has made my life as a Freelancer so much easier and I really appreciate having an affordable platform I can use for proposals, contracts, time tracking (for the clients who need it) invoices and payments all together. I'd love to switch my accounting over to Bonsai as well but I don't feel like they have that quite up to par with what I'm currently using at this point. I do feel like they still have some improvements that could be made just in regards to how things are organized, scheduling things and customization. I have also had one incident regarding a discrepancy with my payment vs. payout that hasn't been resolved yet but outside of that, it's been a great experience.

I love the set up and how customizable it is! Very easy to use and organized. I also love that, being a new freelancer, I am able to pause my subscription when I don't have work. My only qualm is the inability to edit the text in the contracts. Sometimes I want it to be slightly different or certain sections are not necessary. I know I can set up my own contract but it would be awesome if I had the option to fully edit any contract. Overall though, I'm really happy I went with Bonsai.

Really like the proposals and invoicing features! The accounting feature could be better, but overall it’s the best CRM I’ve tried

This has made invoicing my clients a dream! It’s really let me take my business to the next level.

Bonsai is ALMOST perfect. Don't get me wrong, it has plenty of great features that help solve a lot of my business' needs. The one major thing it lacks, is the ability to directly deposit checks to my cash account, which means I have to use a sperate business banking service just for that one feature. I'd also love the ability to send money to an external bank account directly from one of my envelopes. It's not exactly as crucial as the ability to directly deposit checks, but in my opinion that's the type of cherry-on-top feature that would get this a 5-star rating.

I really love Bonsai for invoicing and contracts. It has helped me manage my small business smoothly.

I've been using Bonsai for just over a year now. This is a solid product for my one-person consulting business. I wish my time entries had autocorrect, the billing timer could be stopped and started even when offline (like when on a plane) and that invoices allowed me to remove the payment options section, but otherwise it works well and meets my needs.
