When I started my freelance biz, I started off using another service, but I felt like it was missing some things and the user experience wasn't quite right. Then I found Bonsai! I love how easy it is to use Bonsai. I also love that they're open to new ideas from the people that use it every day. Bonsai makes it easy to keep track of projects, my time, and money all at once. I use the tax add on and my CPA was SO impressed when we met up to figure out how much estimated taxes I should be paying. It was right on the money with his estimate! Love that portion so that there shouldn't be any big surprises come tax day. 10/10 recommend for someone starting or looking for a new freelance project management/invoicing tool!

Excellent software that has transformed my business

I've been using Bonsai for my videography business for the last 6 months! It's well worth it. Great to be able to put together contracts and invoices so quickly.

Love Bonsai CRM - always updating and adding new features that are pertinent. Haven't had major issues - quick response time when contacting support. Love the templates for proposals and excited for the growth of the CRM.

Bonsai is exactly what I needed. Even though my freelance work doesn't need all the bells and whistles Bonsai offers, 1) What I need is there, and 2) if my work ever does reach the complexity of those features, they're already there, ready to be used. The interface is elegant and intuitive, and time-tracking is a snap. I wish I'd found Bonsai earlier, and I can't imagine leaving it for any other platform.

I've been freelancing for around 2 years. As a fairly new freelancer, it was the legal / technical aspects that I was concerned with for my business. Bonsai comes fully equipped to handle clients, projects, time tracking, contracts, invoices, finances (accounting / taxes) and reporting. I love that I can focus on my client work and Bonsai handles all the other important details automatically as invoices go out and come back paid. That platform itself is easy to use and even feels solid and well maintained. Bottom line, I feel confident using Bonsai for my self employment / freelancing needs, especially when it comes to taxes. I 100% recommend it.
