Bonsai is a super great tool, and their team is constantly striving to improve function and usability. It is a bit of a financial investment if you are just staring out as a freelancer but it is worth it!

I have been using it for about 3 months now and so far I really like it! It's very convenient to have everything in one place (contracts, proposals, invoices etc.). Would recommend for other freelancers or small businesses.

Bonsai is an absolute dream and necessity for freelancers. When I was trying out various products, nothing compared to the simplicity in terms of UI and UX while meeting my specific needs like Bonsai. They have a full feature suite and I truly cannot see myself using any other product.

I'm a freelance copywriter. This app has made things so simple for my business. Here's what I like (and what you might like too, if you're a freelancer of any kind): 1. Contracts take moments to create and modify. They are completely flexible. 2. You can create contracts with deposits that must be PAID ON SIGNING which is an awesome feature for freelancers who take deposits before project launch. 3. You can use your business branding on everything, including invoices, if you have the right tier of Bonsai — but even if you don't, the Bonsai branded invoices still look great. 4. Your finances are tracked in a way that's easy to read and easy to pull P/L. There's even an option to open up a bank account & bank card with lower fees so you can keep your business finances even more organized and separate your taxes without having to constantly pay middle-men to transfer money (I haven't used this yet, but it's a cool feature). 5. You can utilize automation for client & project management. Cool email automation features so you can more easily create a flow with leads & clients. In summary, Bonsai has thought of pretty much everything freelancers need and given it to them in a way that's organized, integrate-able, and easy to use.

Super easy to use. The UI/UX are awesome. My primary accounting software lives elsewhere and my CPA wants me to send invoices there, but I refuse to because Bonsai's platform is so much better. Give it a try, you'll be delighted.

Bonsai makes tracking time and invoicing the appropriate amount easy. Their dashboard for tracking income and expenses is awesome. There was a small yet important thing I noticed that needed improvement, and when bringing them up to the Bonsai team, they added it to their product roadmap. That's what you want from a software team - they seem to care about users.

Bonsai has helped me automate my business and combines many features I was piecemealing with other, often clunkier, programs. It's made my life easier, which means I get proposals and contracts out more quickly, and automate invoicing so I get paid on time, without chasing clients.
