Alpha has been late on my antidepressants twice in the past four months that I’ve been a member. The help support is nice but not very timely with their responses. When asking to have my prescription to a local pharmacy since im now out again they said unfortunately I would just have to tough it out till who knows when. It is very convenient but the anxiety of running out of my medication consistently makes it not worth it.

I am really disappointed with Hello alpha. I am on an antidepressant that was not shipped to me for August. I also got an allergy med recently and was waiting for the first delivery. I didn't approve the first allergy med suggested yet it showed up on my doorstep anyway. I put the bottle in the fridge thinking it was the antidepressant. then the actual allergy med showed up 2 days later. I went to put my vitamins and meds in my pill planner when I realized I didn't have my anti D and 2 different allergy meds! If you have ever been on an Ani D you know that going on and off is a process and can mess with your mental health and your brain chemistry. you wean on an off to no cause too much of a disruption. So here I am with no Anti Ds fearful of what is going to happen to me. I emailed Hello Alpha and the reply I received asked me if I filled out a questionnaire. no sorry, no ownership of the issue - just victim-blaming. It seems although it was never explained to me that because I didn't complete a followup survey my pills weren't sent out. the initial email I got with the survey link 2 weeks ago never said anything about my next refill predicating on my completing the survey. There are no reminders, nothing. How am I supposed to know this? luckily she is going to send an RX to my local CVS. As someone with a master's degree in health education and a Certified Health Health Education Specialist, you learn that you never blame the victim and you can't assume that the method of communication you use is the one that works best for the patient. You have to work with people to get them to do what you want - in this case, qualify for timely refills. They could have a texting program, an iCal reminder program, phone calls, whatever. Don't just blame me for not having a timely refill because I didn't see an email and complete a survey. What the most frustrating was that the provider I am dealing with didn't explain anything, didn't apologize, and didn't take ownership of their crappy program. She must be a millennial who doesn't do anything wrong. Meanwhile, I am sitting here being seriously affected by not having my medication.

I was charged for a prescription that I did not need refilled. I was told the system in place fills a prescription and charges someone when there is an adjustment made to the treatment plan. I think this is completely unfair. Funds are tight as they are and I just lost my job due to Covid. My current medication will last me up until September 24th and now they charged me 30$ for another month on top of what I have. It's not fair. I'm dissapointed and upset, angry and feel taken advantage of. I was told no refund can be made, because they already filled my prescription the day of me telling them I didn't want it. Now I have the bag unopened looming on my desk. I feel bullied into a corner for something I didn't want.

Claims to have an assessment within 24 hours after an online exam, i had To reach out myself they claimed they had technical issues, there seemed to be no issues while collecting my payment. The robotic “clinician” responded with medicines immediately. No conversation. Every response i wrote many hours would go by before any response and i mean The type i send a message and wake up the next day to an answer. The site claims you have easy back and forth communication . Before any actual communication other than medicine was given i decided To cancel because of how impersonal and falsely advertised it was. The entire program was $120 for the year, they only refunded $90 claiming i was Rendered a service. A service to them must mean two messages after an online assessment that is likely computer generated. They are refusing to return my $30 claiming it’s the same as going to the doctor. Then after me explaining how unsatisfied i was They closed the chat and you can only continue messaging if you de subscribe. It’s a complete scam, if you just want to sign on for random medication and generic advice then i suggest You enjoy. And their cancellation is crap, they want money either way. By the way this is all within 3 days of getting the service, by no means was i on This for a week and trying to get over on anyway. This giant company can keep my $30, they apparently need it.its extremely impersonal and doesn’t help at all. Maybe the other departments are better but if you are going for mental health, run.

I was not aware that I was being charged $45 for a small little bottle of the same ingredient that I can get at the supermarket for cheaper. I asked for a refund and they totally ignored my request.

I ordered a prescription for a coldsore outbreak but only found out the cost after purchasing. It also arrived quite late so my outbreak was over by the time I got the medication.

Terrible communication. I have been tried to cancel my service, messages them already and they have never contacted me back.

Confusing and slow responses. Their pharmacy caused me to go without medication putting me at risk for withdrawal bc they repeatedly messed up
