I’m rather frustrated with alpha it seems like you really are not concerned for me. Yes I know I need to loose weight but because if I don’t have type 2 die bets I am predibetic my insurance keeps declining my medication because you keep putting it under weight loss not pre diabetic to lower A1c levels, then felt like when I told them I had diabetic sores told me it’s prolly something else . It’s just frustrating you won’t give wagovy ozempic any of those but metaformin I’ve been throwing up I just wanted help . I really am trying to lose weight

I have mixed feeling about Alpha. I like that I’ve been able to get the rx I need. But it has been difficult to ask simple questions. I don’t like their system for communication after the appointments. They get the job done, but they could be so much better.

Started with Alpha in Aug 2022. Pretty smooth until Dec 2022 with Mounjaro. Lost 35 pounds or so. Felt like they did not completely read my messages, but I got product all the same working with my local pharmacy. In Dec. something changed. I took the 15 mg doses in Dec. Then, in Jan. I was without medication for three weeks, and they wanted to retitrate me from the start at 2.5 mg. I had filled a 15 mg box (paying myself $900) to try to keep myself on track, so I made a personal call and just proceeded with that dose. I did fine and continue to do so, but Alpha's PA was obviously not happy about this. She was short and very condescending in her response. She had told me the 2.5 mg retitration dose was sent to the pharmacy, but when I called- it had not. No value for the new "membership" fee of $49 a month. Thats money I can put towards somethig else. So- I've decided to go elsewhere. There are a lot of reputible services and a peptide option that you can do yourself for this type thing.

I am proud to find Alpha for my weight loss medication, however the messaging system is not the best. There was a lot of confusion from support. It seemed like they really didn’t read or understand my questions. I chose Alphas partner pharmacy but was advised the medication was back ordered and was instructed to find my own pharmacy. Then after going through all the hassle of figuring which pharmacy I was advised that my prescription was transferred. I called my pharmacy to find out that they had sent a message to Alpha that they needed more information so my prescription was on hold. Then the next day my prescription was shipped from Alphas partner pharmacy which I’m glad it shipped but it was very confusing

Compounded skin care arrived in a nearly empty bottle with a broken pump. Either a used bottle or one that was never properly filled or assembled. Update: Reached out through patient portal as suggested, have a replacement coming. Will update.

This telehealth company has so much potential. I love the idea of skincare and weight loss in one place. However, it is so clear that they have too many patients and too little staff. I’m always having to message for prescriptions not being sent or skincare medication not being mailed. I will be saying goodbye to a great idea.

It's getting better because they only respond rapidly when I leave a review here:/ but if they could fix the response time or respond even within the quoted time would be soooo helpful.

It seems to be a lengthy process so far… other than that, I think it is ok.
