I was very happy with the derm consult and the quickness of the prescription filled. I am a little worried about the price being high since I have friends who have been prescribed the same medication for much less money. They said it would be $50, I paid almost $90 and I have a friend that got the same meds without insurance from her derm for $10… The weight loss consult has been frustrating. Every time I hear back from a provider it’s someone new. I’m still waiting to get a med prescribed and it’s been weeks. I’ve called my insurance and asked what meds needed a prior authorization. I told my provider that and then she called in the med without one…so I waited for it to fill only to find out she hadn’t sent one. Now I’m still waiting and I’ve had several different responses and quite frankly I don’t understand what I’m supposed to do now and so it’s very frustrating

When I first began using alpha, the service was quick, the staff was accommodating, and services were fairly priced. I appreciated the convenience. Over the last few months, service has gotten slower, prices have increased and it’s nearly impossible for them to submit a PA on a prescription. I waited almost two months for a PA on ozempic. Their site says a PA could take up to 30 days (not 60). When I inquired about the status of the PA or if they could resubmit it, I was told to speed up the process I could call the insurance company. I never received a yes or a no from the insurance. That is not customer service. When I first began using alpha, I referred so many people to this service but now everyone is disappointed, including myself.

Visits are convenient and easy. However, it always take a long time to receive medication refills. I complete my followup visits 2 weeks prior to running out of medicine. I don't receive the medication until 3 to 4 weeks later. I should not have to experience a lapse in treatment.

It has not been smooth so far. Communication is brisk. I’ve been less inclined to ask questions. Perhaps I have not found my comfort level.

Was just an ok experience. Providers didn't really seem to want to listen or address concerns.

My doctor was very good at prescribing my medication but when it came to trying to get a PA I felt no support at all. I feel like the doctors should advocate for us to get this medication covered through our insurance

My visit was disqualified in 3 times because the website had a software issue. The doctor kept saying that I was putting the wrong state which I was not. After 4 days of this I finally notified Alpha's tech support and they did acknowledge the issue. I was without my medication for a week because of this issue. I have had many issues over the 6 months that I have beenusing alpha but it is super convenient. Not sure if I will continue to use them.
