Edit: Lowering my rating to a one star. They did in fact reach out to me as indicated in their response. They said that it can take up to 5 days to hear back from my provider. We’re now going on day 8, so even that was a false promise. They even responded acknowledging that a “few days without my medication will be ok while I wait”. They were great at first, but they've definitely ran into some issues. My spouse and I both requested refills days ago without a response from the doctor. We both also needed the pharmacy we had originally requested changed and messaged support, but there has been no answer to that. I'm sure they will get better, but I wouldn't start a new account with them right now. I do appreciate their good pricing, but that's likely what has caused their delay.

I hate that I have to leave a negative review. I have loved using Alpha for the past year. I know they are inundated with people. However, I reached out to them on 10/20/22, 10/24 and 10/27. No response...just an announcement that says we will be in touch within 72 hours. It's been 8 days. They had zero issues charging my credit card for the "visit" that hasn't happened. Be sure to read all the reviews....there's a common theme. Also check Better Business Bureau for Alpha reviews and to leave feedback.

I had to previous appts with Alpha everything went excellent and then this 3rd appt on Monday 10/24/22 it’s been over 72hrs I’ve sent numerous emails and also called and left a message and emailed contact support nooone has reviwed my last visit it just says pending for four days now and I’m out of medication I also am a Alpha medical member and paid a co pay for the last visit at this point I was charged for a medical visit and no one has treated me today is 10/27/22

My follow up was on 10/19/ 22 and today is 10/26/22 and they have still not called in my prescription. I am due for my next dose on Saturday

Hello alpha was amazing until the last 2 months! Cant get a response and if and when you do it's not helpful. Trying to sort out medications and everything I ask a question they charge me $30-$35. Also the website kept prompting me to sign up for a membership so I did only to be told it doesn't apply to the only service I'm using alpha for.

So very disappointed in the decline in care I’ve received from Alpha. I did my follow up appt on 10/13. Had to write a review to get the prescribed medication sent to the pharmacy. I’ve now written multiple messages to the provider and customer service for a prior authorization. It is now 10/26 13 DAYS LATER and my rx is still on hold at the pharmacy. Not only have I now missed a dosage of my medication, even when the prior authorization gets submitted my pharmacy takes a few days to order in the medication. I no longer recommend this to anyone. I have also advised family and friends that were interested to no longer use Alpha.

Update: Still awful if not worse. Half- heartedly reached out to with no solution. My “visit” has still not been completed, in fact I have no response from the original message from my “provider”. I have been told that they are unable to refund me since my visit has been completed- even though it has not.. thank goodness they are not taking new patients because they obviously are unable to handle the ones they have with any sort of care or attention. Awful- took forever to connect with provider. When I finally was, the provider gave me inaccurate information and wasn’t available to respond after giving me the incorrect information. Don’t waste your money. In the time I waited for a response I have received the care I needed including a prescription in hand with Push. Although the cost for push is more it is worth it. The $35 I spent was absolutely useless. I have reached out expressing my concerns… and you guess it, I have not had a response.

I had a fast response with my start visit but have been trying to get a prior authorization started since the 13th. Also slow response from prescriber. Glad I am not having a serious problem. My insurance will cover it if I get this done. About to switch to PUSH. Angela Schmidt
