I liked in the beginning. Alpha medical has become too overwhelmed and wait times are now 7 days. This is unacceptable when starting patients on a medication and not being able to receive timely responses. My prescription was out of stock which is obviously no fault to alpha but I requested they send the lower dosage in order to not extend the time I was off medication. I received a response saying I needed to complete another assessment meaning they just want more money to be able to send the new prescription. To which I would have to again wait up to 7 days for a response. Now I am off the medication almost one month and it’s essentially wasted my time and money to not be able to continue this medication which was quite life changing. The current patients should be prioritized not adding as many new clients as possible without being able to catch up. It is simply a money grab they don’t care about you.

I started an appointment on 11/6 and received a auto-message giving some medication options and replied immediately with follow up questions and the type of medication I would prefer to have prescribed. I didn't get a reply to that until 11/12, a week later. In that email more medication options were listed. I again replied immediately listing the medication from the choices given that my insurance would cover best. I got nothing in return and contacted the help/support at alpha who must have nudged the provider because on 11/21 (we are up to two weeks after my initial contact) I finally had a provider send in prescriptions to my pharmacy. They chose a different prescription than the one I requested for one of the scripts (3 total prescriptions) that would be significantly more expensive ($258 a month!). Two of the prescriptions sent to the pharmacy didn't include dosing or refill info and couldn't be filled. I contacted them to try to get that fixed including screenshots of the issue. One of the two with issues was fixed but also duplicated in the pharmacy causing more delays with that one. The second has not been fixed despite sending screenshots of the issue and contacting help/support. We are at over 3 weeks out and I still have nothing from alpha except a lot of frustration. Edit: in response the the alpha reply to this review, I have reached out to support at alpha and have received apologies but no progress on treatment. Replies to the treatment providers on the condition thread have gone unanswered since 11/21 which is more than a week ago.

I am now going without my medication due to this sites lack of care. My “follow up visit” was scheduled way too soon to me running out of medication. I now also have a new provider. It’s been way longer than “72 hours” which they also are now saying up to 7 days which puts me without medication for a week. I tried contacting them thru facebook which they gave me this copied robot message, I also messaged them thru the app to which I got the EXACT same message. I am also 100% sure they will post that exact same thing here for their response. They only want your $$ which is why they have way to many patients then they know what to do with. I wlll be disputing the charges thru my bank and reporting them to the BBB too. Do not use this sham of a company. RUN

No matter how many emails I sent, no one replied. You Didn’t want to lose my susbscription so you kept ignoring my request to cancel the subscription. It’s a complete fraud

I’ve messaged through the portal about my prior authorization and have been told it is being worked on. Spoke with my insurance and was informed it has not been initiated. Frustrating that the medication was sent in 3 weeks ago and nothing yet…

So I wanted to get prescribed Ozempic for weight loss! It states right on the website that they will work to get it approved! If I get it prescribed I expected to get it! But I was denied even though my insurance cover it was a PA approval! Instead they started me with metfomin which is for diabetes and then the generic of contrave! I feel that they didn’t try at all to get my insurance to approve the ozempic! They just wanted make the money! I think they shouldn’t be charging $35 each follow appt!! Let me say Alpha is very greedy! they just to make the $35 and not help the patient! They shouldn’t be stating on the website that they prescribe a medication that requires a PA…and the end results are no weight loss and a denial. More work for someone now needs to file an appeal! Which they should be able to help with because they are the reason why people like me are getting denied

Communication is not good! I want to have my next refill in December! Still have not heard from anyone!
