Things were going well. Once they changed delivery services I never received my prescription and the customer service ignored my request for help multiple times. I’m being charge but not receiving my prescription and no one seems to care about the inconvenience or payments taken for no service.

I have been trying to get assistance with my progesterone prescription. I keep getting the run around and told that my prescription is being delivered soon. The person I've been messaging isn't looking at my messages because I've said several times, I haven't received the progesterone since October! This is a medical emergency.

Please don’t give Alpha Medical your business. Their response time for all messages is five business days. That means you’ll pay their fees to go an entire month trying to get a single prescription filled like I did. Response and turnaround times aren’t clearly disclosed on their website. When the providers send in PAs it can take weeks to complete them, then they’re not approved because they’re missing information. No phone number to reach them at; it’s just a pre-recorded message saying to call 911 in an emergency. Alpha Medical is a sham, and I can’t encourage everyone enough not to waste their money using it.

It seems that alpha is severely understaffed. Messages go unanswered, requests not met in a timely manner. The staff when reachable are lovely, but for a MEDICAL app, the Sevice is severely lacking (especially with the recent significant increase in price)

This is a follow up visit and I needed a medication change. Everything initially went along at a good pace. I did the appointment, filled out the info, and redefined a reply the next day. I provided updated info and got a response the day after that. Things taking a turn around time of one day is understandable because these are virtual visits. The issue started once my prescription was submitted to my pharmacy. I needed a prior auth, in which my pharmacy promptly faxed over to Alpha medical. I contacted Alpha to make sure they received it 1/25 and it was confirmed it was received and in the queue to be attended to by their pharmacy specialists. Then I got a pop up saying this would be 15-25 days and possibly more due to increased demand. This is absolutely outrageous. They need to review work flow and/or hire more staff. They promptly take your money for the monthly subscription fee but then provide substandard service. There is no reason for a prior authorization to take this many days especially since once it is received my insurance provides a response within hours. Is Hello Alpha insinuating that they are busier or have more customers than one of the nations largest prescription insurance providers? Before I get the generic reply of reach out to the customer service team via message, I have! Multiple times with the same generic answer. I don’t want phony kind words, I want service.

Joined Jan 2nd. Had a weight loss visit. I was prescribed ozempic on the 10th. I still haven't gotten the medication. Everytime I emailed them asking for an update, they tell me their pharmacy team needs 15-25 days to review. I could have just gone to see a regular pcp instead of the run around i was getting.

High quality personalized care my ass. Like many others on here - my experience started great but has gone downhill recently. I have TWICE been without my asthma meds and unable to breathe. Their patient portal is completely useless and they never get back to you. If you use their pharmacy that ships you meds - you will get no warning they just won't show up and you won't have them. It's completely unprofessional and actually f*cked. Save yourself. Find another option. (I've transferred my stuff to plush care and they're quick easy and you get to chat with actual humans.

I have been using Hello Alpha for the past year, and recently in early January I submitted my normal mental health visit and waited for the results, which came in the next day. I was then asked if I needed a refill for my medication, and I said yes. Days went by and I was passed on from one member to another and then I was sent a link to complete a weight loss visit... I'm sorry, I'm paying for mental health! Thursday, 1/26 I submitted another follow up after no feedback from the team in the afternoon and Friday, 1/27 rolled around and no follow up. I sent a message back this evening on 1/27 and finally someone responded and they kept diverting to weight loss which is not part of my plan. If you cannot figure out to respond in a timely manner to patients regarding mental health and medication, and have no really human connection with your customers then you don't deserve to be in business. This was the worst experience ever!!!!!!!
