It feels very difficult getting answers from alpha medical. Multiple people are responding to my questions. Then, after being prescribed medication, there was silence. I didn’t know what was going on with the medication getting approved by insurance. I had to personally call my insurance to get something prescribed. I’ve used other online companies for medication for my birth control and they respond a lot faster and everything is more clear cut and easier to understand

I used this service because my doctors office could t get me in for a week and I needed the medication immediately. But it took a week for this prescription to arrive and by then it was too late anyway. It sat in the “review” stage for way too long.

It was my first time ordering from Alpha Medical. I was excited to see that I wouldn't pay much for my birth control, but it took quite a while to receive a shipping email. When I did, Support told me that it would take another 3-5 days to receive my birth control. I ended up receiving it two days after the estimated delivery date, which made me miss a couple pills. Nothing too horrible, I would recommend for the convenience.

This company has been wonderful through the past year, however - the last few months it’s become evident that they do not have the manpower to offer access to customer service. Missing doses due to their error isn’t something I want to do anymore.

The assessment process is easy but it just takes a provider to long to respond. It may take days to actually get your prescription even when sending it to your local pharmacy.

I recently ran out of one of my medications and when I asked for an explanation as to why the refill wasn’t automatically filled (as it had been since November 2020), I did not get an answer. Thankfully, I was sent a short term refill but 1) it wasn’t clear when that refill was supposed to be available at my local pharmacy and 2) I already was in the thick of the withdrawal symptoms from being off the medication for a few days. Up until this recent experience, I had nothing but good things to say about Alpha Medical.

The doctor was nice, but getting my orders to get my bloodwork was difficult. My first set of orders were supposed to be faxed, but they didn’t have it. So I drove 20 minutes to my nearest lab for nothing. Then after I contacted ALPHA again, It took me a few days to get a paper copy. They said they faxed them as wel, but the site still did not get them and I had to wait 45 minutes while they had to verify the doctor was legitimate. After finally getting my blood work done, I followed up several times about my results and Had to call the lab to follow up because ALPHA wasn’t doing it for me despite knowing I had done it. Turned out there was a form that needed to be filled out, and it was faxed by the lab to ALPHA and it took several days to complete to get my stuff back, and then I never heard from my initial doctor again. I was given 2 different doctors after that. The Operations side of things here seems very lacking. I also added my insurance info and it wasn’t charged to my insurance after, but out of pocket.

I've had some issues... some resulted in me going over a week after my actual start date without my next month's pills resulting in over a week of no protection. Obviously being a responsible adult I managed but that is besides the point. The purpose of having a subscription is to have the worry and stress free experience with your BC delivered right to your door.
