I was really impressed with them at first, but the delayed response time to get a reply from a provider to get a refill completed is not sustainable. The medication in question already takes a week to fill at my pharmacy, so waiting so many business days for a follow up response is not ok!

The first two visits have been great. Now on my third visit, no response after numerous messages; now I am two weeks lapse on getting my medication. I paid them for the visit but no response or prescription. I am disappointed.

I’ve been waiting to hear from my provider about escalating my dose of Mounjaro and have not heard from anyone after sending messages to their support staff and providers. After 4 days, my visit has not been reviewed. It takes days for my pharmacy to order the medication so I will already be behind on my dosing schedule. I use Mounjaro for weight loss with the hopes of controlling my diabetes. This isn’t just about how I look, this is for my health. I am so upset with Alpha for leaving me in the dark like this. I paid for my visit and even paid for the yearly membership so that I can support their business and have an ongoing long-term provider to help address my diabetes goals. I feel like their service used to be much better and has taken a sharp nosedive in their service. I’m beyond disappointed, at this point I feel angry, betrayed, and scammed. [First update] Two days after alpha sent me their response and stated my eval was marked as urgent, I have yet to receive a response from my provider. No one has completed my evaluation. I am sending a formal complaint to the Washington department of health and attorney general, as well as making a consumer complaint. As a provider of healthcare they need to do better. [Second update] Alpha contacted me quickly after I spoke out about my frustration and threatened to report them to state agencies. My medication was finally sent to my pharmacy. I am disappointed that it takes this much effort to receive care and simply don’t have the patience for this type of fight every single month so I am really hoping they get their operation under control in the next month, otherwise I will be asking for the cost of my yearly pre-paid membership to be refunded and moving on.

I guess this isn’t really a review but it seems like the best chance I have of getting someone to reply is writing on here, if there’s any way I can get a doctor to answer my messages that would be great, my name is Abigail Nichols

I still have not received my RX. I got a generic follow up message on my account, but still over a week with no prescription. I just don’t understand what’s going on alpha medical?

The initial usage was amazing. I had already ordered birth control in a panic because I had a pregnancy scare... because I had done this in a panic; I couldn't remember the site I got it from, or if it was an automatic refill... so I scoured the internet... and ordered more from this one before I ran out. It turns out that it was an automatic refill. Now I don't need it from here. My problem is that I can't figure out how to cancel. I need help with this please.

Paid for a membership by accident and sent them message 5 days ago so they could cancel it and just schedule a visit without membership. This was Thursday last week today is Wednesday and I have not heard anything from them. You can't get anyone on the phone or response to message thru your account. I will not be using this company I can't imagine how long it would take to get appts scheduled and paperwork needed for authorization and prescriptions. I'm sure they are overwhelmed and understaffed with the recent TikTok craze for weight loss meds but I will be taking my business else where, a friend uses sequence and within 48 hours had her visit ans prescription filled.

UPDATE: after posting this review alpha contacted me. My provider apologized for the delay and my RX was sent in. First time using alpha was last month and they were amazing. However this month has been a disappointment. Completed my follow up apt on 9/19 and my provider messaged on 9/20 to say she had sent my next RX to my pharmacy. They have not received it and messages to alpha since 9/23 have not been answered
