Initially I would have given Alpha Medical a 5 star rating for the convenience, for the prompt consultations with medical providers, and for quick shipping of medications. However, I recently had an issue where my prescription refill was not actually being processed, even though I completed my follow-up appointment and paid for the medication. After 2 weeks went by, I reached out to customer service; It took days to get a response. Then, instead of apologizing for the delay, the customer service rep proceeding to blame me for the delay....which literally made no sense considering I did everything I was supposed to and the original ETA provided aligned with when I needed the refill. Clearly there was an error on their end and I did not appreciate the response I received.

Super easy to get prescriptions and ship well would be great to be able to add extra goodies to each order that help with period pains and symptoms of birth control

Great program if your insurance allows for 3 month shipments. Mine unfortunately does not, and alpha takes at least 2-3 weeks in my experience to process and ship your birth control monthly, which is making me miss days so I have to keep restarting

I just wish it would come sonner…

I wish we could choose a shipment cadence for prescriptions - I have tried to ask for my prescription to be sent later every time and have instead had to constantly pause and restart my medication shipments because they are sending far too much too soon. Otherwise, I think Alpha is super easy to work with with and easy to use mobile website…

I think the service was good for the most part. I opted in to receive emergency contraceptive as well and it was never received.

The SSRIs make me cry a lot. It's hard to sleep and I feel sick at my stomach. I like the birth control though.
