I keep receiving bills from Helix medical and I have never used their services they are trying to charge $500 office visit which I don't even know where they are located and $405 Async visit whatever that is and a convenience fee of $3.75 and $10 a month for every month I don't pay them

VIRTUAL PATIENTS PLEASE BEWARE-PATIENTS PLEASE READ WHAT THEY ARE CHARGING YOU FOR!!! I signed up for a virtual visit on 1/2/24 and at the end was notified that I would be notified when an appointment became available. After 2 hours of nothing, I signed up to see another doctor to whom actually saw me (like normal virtual visits) and I got my prescription filled from (sent them proof). Well- Helix and Dr Michael have charged my insurance upwards of $1000 for fees labeled exams (how when I never attended, it is a virtual visit and they have none of my medical info) , for the prescription and much more. As well as charging me $150 plus. They are standing firm even after discussing this and providing proof. Told me I signed a consent, and that basically it is my problem even though the charges are clearly fraudulent and never took place. It seems like a quick money grab they're using to take advantage of vulnerable people needing care and I am so hurt by this. I never heard back from on an appointment, only electronically when a bill was due which was a huge surprise to me. This doctors office/company has gotten over on me and my insurance company. It's disappointing that a doctor that is supposed care for patients is causing distress and taking advantage of me and my insurance company. I will not let this go. If they did it to me, there's no telling who else they've done this to. When you call, the staff is very dismissive and demeaning - they have no bedside manner whatsoever and do not care to help you because they've set them selves up contractually to try to cover themselves. I'm contacting the BBB and hiring an attorney to look into this. Please be careful when dealing with this company.

This is a scam! They don't do anything then charge you money repeatedly.

I was looking for a Telehealth appointment for a one-time appointment to obtain antibiotics for a h. pylori infection. Had several questions concerning Medicare coverage and other standard customer service issues. That they will only communicate by email and text and refuse to utilize the telephone is a dead give away. If you ever think of using a company of any sort but your gut tells you something’s wrong, try calling their Customer Service Department before handing over any payment info. This company won’t even communicate with you until they have your credit card info. Red Flag. Multiple problems but I was able to cancel my CC before they could bill me for canceling my appointment. Just Red Flags everywhere; AVOID!

They are scammers .I set up account for my daughter.She need birth control pills refill .I received a call with the prescription that was ready in my local pharmacy.I used her insurance and my insurance would t like to pay the bill they sent them for $1425 it was a phone call!!!! They sent me a bill telling My insurance paid $40 so I have to pay $43 cause they charged only $75 well I paid and after 5 months they sent me bill for $510 for the same service
