headspaceReviews of headspace.com

Warning, this app charges you $90 without you even knowing. It talks about $8/month but automatically puts you on the most expensive subscription. The customer service does not even bother to respond. It was marketed as a well-being app at our school .. sorry not at this price. This app has caused us nothing but stress. Pure greed.

Has really helped with lockdown! I signed up for Headspace two weeks ago, to help with getting through lockdown. I've had a fantastic experience so far and just wanted to add my thoughts to what seems to be a long list of negative reviews. Content: There is so much content - for sleep, work, relationships, exercise etc - as well as daily mediations. Although I have just got a subscription for one person, my daughter has also been using it to help her sleep and has found it has really helped. Pricing: I've found the pricing structure transparent. You get a two-week trial and then are automatically billed for a full year if you don't cancel before. The annual cost is £49.99 which works out at £4.15/month which is very good value considering all the content you get. I just had to cancel a meditation retreat which would have cost me £350! Customer services: There seem to be a lot of bad reviews on this. I wrote to customer services with a query about the meditations and got a response quickly.

Fell for the "free access" for educators scam. It's not free. You get 8 minutes of extra content and then bombarded in the app to sign up. I also provided my payslip with personal details as requested to prove my teacher status. Feeling very Stuuuupid!!!

"Headspace is offering free support during the current global crisis" This is what is wrote on their site header, utter nonsense. All they are doing is baiting desperate people at a time when there is a real need for help. It is not free support when you have to put in your card details and sign up to an auto-renew subscription. It is also not something they have just done in response to covid 19. A lot of vulnerable people such as my elderly aunt have fallen for this predatory selling. Shame on you Headspace. You will I hope be remembered for your tactics during this time. I would also like to add that mediation is something you don't need anything for. Focus on your breath like it is the most important thing in the world and accept your thoughts that will come and go. Meditation is wonderful. Headspace is not.

I get some code for 30 days free trial. I subscribed, gave them details of my card and tried to find a place to put this code in. Unfortunately I couldn't find any location for that so I decided to cancel auto-renewal and then delete my card's details. This was however impossible to do. Even after cancellation of subscription your card's details stays in and you are not allowed to erase it. Seeing this I decided to immediately delete my whole account - and, surprise, surprise - option "delete account" doesn't work at all. I click it and there is no response from website. So you cannot delete your account and you cannot erase details of your credit card. Please, be aware of it before creating an account.

I fell for the “free 2 week trial” scam Headspace is running through their app/apple. I felt uneasy when asked for my card info, always shady, but really wanted to find an app to help me RELAX, oh the Itony here. They refused to refund my 69.00 that was charged after 2 weeks “free”. I can’t even use the app and just lost 69.00 since I can’t support a company that rules off so much money in the name of helping us meditate!! F U Headspace!!

All you guys can cancel your subscription in your account settings pretty easily. It does sign you up for auto-renew and you literally had to click agree to that to start using the app (read the stuff you click "accept" on). There are also numerous FAQ guides that will walk you through it on their site. My review is low because I upgraded with them to the Family Plan 2 months ago. When I click the link to "manage accounts" it always says they're having trouble with their servers. I have emailed them 3 times now and haven't received a single response. I see here that people have contacted via Twitter and I'll prob just go try every single social media account they have and see if they'll respond. If not, I'll be reporting it as fraud on my credit card and deleting my account with them. I really enjoy the app, but customer service is 0.

Found it impossible to cancel before subscription kicks in. The emails i sent to headspace help centre to help with this issue never got answered and now got smacked with $100 subscription fee. Hope kharma police will sort these guys out.
