DO NOT PURCHASE ANYTHING FROM THIS COMPANY!!! I ordered a vegan chocolate cake for my dad’s birthday because I couldn’t go home due to covid. He received inedible fruit including: frozen bananas, 2 limes and lemons, an orange, a pear, and non-vegan shortbread cookies! When I contacted the company, assuming there had been a mix up with the order, I was blamed for the incident. The company told me in the length of several paragraphs that I had agreed to the terms and conditions, and therefore it was not to blame. I obviously wouldn’t have ordered anything from them if I knew my order would be substituted with products that were inedible for the recipient. I really suggest you do not buy anything from this company as it clearly does not care about customer service or satisfaction. And this, arguably, is be no means the way a business should be run!!!

The worst. Hard to make this up. If you want a quality basket delivered on time, this is not your best bet. Sunday afternoon in NY ... I wanted a gift basket delivered in Houston on Tuesday. I searched "Houston gift baskets" and the Hazelton site appeared, offering same day delivery if ordered by 11am. Tuesday shouldn't be a problem, right? Wrong. I ordered the basket, over $100 (qualifying for free delivery) only to receive a confirmation of my order indicating that since I selected "free delivery," the basket would not arrive for four business days. Immediately contacting Customer Service, I was told that the basket was already prepared and ready to ship. (Even though I had added a special bottle of wine!) They were unable to cancel the order. The basket arrived on Friday -- five days (not four) after my order. The fruit was bad; the box containing the basket was damaged. The address label was placed on the bottom of the box! I contacted Customer Service again. Guess what? Due to COVID, they have no control over the timing of deliveries. And they don't guarantee the quality of the fruit unless you pay for next day delivery. They sure know how to cover their bases. STAY AWAY!!

I ordered a bicycle cart to be filled with fruit and champagne and it was delivered without the fruit nor champagne - or even anything to look the same like the picture! Avoid ordering from this company at all cost.

Customer Service is NONEXISTENT! I placed an order for a holiday fruitcake and a few small bags of dried fruit arrived.  I tried repeatedly - over two weeks - to correct but it is impossible to reach anyone by phone and the 'live chat' on the website is neither live nor a chat (you basically submit an email that falls into an abyss).  Contacting Customer Service via e-mail address on their website is no better - it either gets no response or an auto-generated message that has nothing to do with the issue or attempts to resolve the problem.  I'm usually patient and sympathetic but using the holidays and COVID as an excuse is no longer acceptable.  I just wanted the fruitcake shipped.  Now I am disputing it via the credit card company.  They've lost my business forever.

Zero stars. Like everyone else, I got totally played by this company. Though, the website I purchased through had a different name. It looks like they're changing up the website branding to avoid the negative backlash. The transaction on my CC shows Hazeltonsgiftbaskets. I sent an herb garden to my sister for her bday. She received a package a day later after I shelled out some dough for same day. Then it was completely turned upside down in the box. And on top of that, it wasn't even the item I ordered! It was a dish plant or something. I got a nasty, condescending response to my email stating I agreed to receive whatever they send. Worst company ever. I'm going to submit a complaint with the BBB, and I suggest others do the same.

I ordered a basket of fruits and flowers for my mother and because my order was over a certain size, I was given free shipping, which I gladly accepted. However, when the basket arrived, over 50% of the items inside were rotten and ruined. When I contacted the company to complain, they said their terms and conditions state that they do not recommend using anything less than next day delivery for perishable items...But why even offer a shipping option if you know it will arrived ruined and disgusting!? Absolutely shocking service and I will be leaving this honest review everywhere possible to warn others against buying from this company.

HAZELTON’S gift baskets is a scam company Every negative review on this site is absolutely correct. Almost to the last detail, the same exact thing happened to me with my order. I paid extra for next day delivery and it was a day late. That was not my biggest concern however, when the gift basket arrived, it was only half of what I ordered and the items included were not what I ordered. They would not answer any phone calls after many attempts. It took two weeks to even respond to an email which was rude, short, and very unapologetic. They simply said we need a picture of the basket or there is nothing we can do. That was the end. That does not make sense since they have a detailed breakdown of what I ordered and what they shipped out. That’s how businesses work. They have no intention on making anything right and now I am out almost $300.00. This is a disgusting scam of a business and everyone should stay well clear of it.

I ordered a gift but used my auto fill details and didn’t realise until I submitted that I used my UK address for shipping rather than USA address I’d meant to use. My fault. Immediately emailed company to ask for this to be amended. Track order showing as unfulfilled but CSR insisted already shipped. Got invoice for shipping charges but as free shipping in USA haven’t paid it. Given another email to contact after fruitless online chat. Got same standard email back. Awful service - like others wish I’d checked here first.
