Hazeltons is a fraud! Package was never delivered directly to the recipient. Instead, package was left outdoors in front of an unknown door at Mercy Hospital- St. Louis. Both, the courier and Hazeltons refuse to take responsibility on this issue. Hazeltons also refuse to refund me. It's like stealing from their customers. Never buy at Hazeltons Gift Baskets!

My gift basket got delivered and to say it is lack luster would be an understatement. I ordered a gourmet gift barrel, first it was not in a barrel at all, and gourmet was absolutely not involved. It was full of stuff I could buy at any random grocery store in the snack isle. Not to mention it is September and there is a box of chocolate snowmen and santa.... What in the world?! I sent this to a friend who is a foodie and I am so beyond embarrassed. Seriously, Christmas chocolates and trufru?! How OLD is that chocolate???

I placed an order for a fruit basket for a birthday with delivery scheduled for August 28th. The website stated that delivery was guaranteed if the order was placed before a certain date. Today is the 30th, and it still hasn’t been delivered. I contacted customer service, and all they told me was to speak with the courier. They won’t let me cancel the order despite not fulfilling their commitment.

The basket came on time, but the the wraping was embarrassing. The basket was very big and the product were swimming inside it, My friend was shy to tell me how ugly it was,never again.i paid 200$ for this basket, i should have got it from costco

I ordered a red wine drink & cheese hamper for my Cousin in Canada they left it outside the front door in the sun so the cheese had to go in the bin. I contacted them & they said without photos to prove the cheese was ruined they wouldn’t do anything I live in the Uk my cousin had already binned the cheese as u would, it had bn sat in 40 deg’s heat very disappointed I will Not be ordering from them again! Who Leaves a food hamper sat in the sun they never even knocked on the door!

DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY Hazeltons Gift Baskets aka Reco Services. I ordered a Gift Basket for my wife's birthday. Basket included choc covered strawberry's, Box chocolates, upgraded hi-end French Champagne & flowers, and 2 champagne glasses. Total cost $280 1) Arrived at 5:20 PM after riding around in 100 Plus degree weather in a delivery truck for 8 hrs (mid-July Southern Calif) Delivery was billed as EXPRESS 2) Chocolates & Strawberry's were baked & melted. Champagne bottle was hot to the touch, and the bogus Champagne most likely ruined. 3) Champagne was not what I ordered or paid for. It was a French Sparkling rosé - much lower quality than Mumm French Brut Champagne I ordered and paid for - at a grouching price I might add.. We attempted to salvage what we could out of this 'train wreck'. We refrigerated the wine and opened it 2 hours later - it was completely flat. Bottom line, after multiple phone calls and photos they refused to refund the flat bogus Champagne or offer any credit as we were "unable" to prove that the bottle was hot and/or it was flat. Photos do not show temperature or degree of carbonation. They totally disregarded the issue of not sending the correct Champagne. After much arguing they acquiesced and refund us $80 as a "good will" gesture to compensate for the baked strawberry's and liquid chocolate - they couldn't deny those photos although they tried. So basically I paid $200 for two cheap Champagne glass and some wilted flowers. The rest of the order was trash.

I learned my lesson. Their prices and shipping are too good to be true. I placed a $100 cake/bread order on 12/26 and confirmation email stated expected delivery was 12/28. I finally got delivery today, 1 week later and like other complaints the box is half smashed. When I called to complain they requested I email pics of the box. Then I got an email back stating that they use all sorts of couriers and it was my fault for not opting for overnight delivery (which would have made this unreasonably expensive). They should just be honest on their website and say that they have no idea when you will receive your order.

This business is a total scam. Hazelton's gift baskets, buyer beware! I ordered a double chocolate pecan pie, they delivered a generic pumpkin pie you can get at a supermarket for five dollars. When I contacted customer service, they said in their terms of service when I purchased the product that I agreed to their terms of service and that they can substitute for something else. This is a scam, false advertising and fraudulent business practice. Do not do business with this company because you will get something different than what you ordered.
