I normally check trustpilot reviews but neglected to this time. More fool me. The website looks very professional but don’t let that fool you too! I ordered the seven piece knife set but obviously (despite all the correct dispatch emails) it wasn’t delivered. All emails were unacknowledged. I suspect this is a fraudulent company. Thankfully my bank immediately refunded me when I raised the issue online.

You need the option to select zero stars for the worst companies. This is one such business. All made and shipped from China. Not Japanese at all. Useless pans. Long delivery times. No customer service, no returns possible. I’ll claim from my credit card company and ask them to go after them as I can’t. DO NOT BUY ANYTHING FROM THEM EVER!

Like some others I didn't look here first. 2 'titanium' chopping boards ordered - 2 eventually arrived in plain packaging. No sign of what they are actually made of or where they were made. The larger board had a small dent in it & like others I sent a photo then have been ghosted. Now the same board has a brown tarnish on it which wasn't easy to remove. Titanium doesn't rust so either it's not titanium or it's not rust. Half a dozen emails and nada! A rip off plain and simple!

I purchased the knife sharpener on Shop through Facebook. The roller arrived defective. I contacted the company and it took three emails to even get a reply. They asked that I send photos which I did. Several weeks later they sent me a note thanking me for the photos and promised a replacement. That was August 11th. Since their email, I have reached out three times to inquire where was the replacement. NO ANSWER! They say they guarantee customer satisfaction, but that is blatantly untrue. I suspect I will never get a replacement! Utter waste of money!

I cancelled my order the minute after I placed it by mistake. I have been sending one email after another, following up. At some point, they replied with an email that the order had been cancelled and I would be refunded, but that never happened. It is a scam and I will also report them to my bank.

I waited for almost a month for the knife to arrive (it was posted from China, not Japan!). When it did, it was damaged (the tip was broken off). I've messaged them several times now over the last week and had no response. I can't recommend using them at all and I wish I had spent my money elsewhere,

I wish I had checked Trust Pilot before I ordered. This ‘Hatori’ site is a complete con. Cheap goods made in China & difficult to return. DO NOT BUY FROM HATORI

Avoid at all cost !!! If you already paid for the product , and couldn't cancel the order call your bank. I fell into the trap of genuine looking site , but only checked the trust pilot day after. I called my bank immediately and got my money back . Always check the reviews !!!
