I went in for the first time to buy a pair of gloves. While there I purchased a 6 pack of C batteries for around 3.99. A couple of days later after about a total of 2 hours of use they were dead. Now I didn’t expect them to last a year but did think they would last longer than the 6 months I get out of the 4 for a dollar I get at the dollar store. If this is any indication of the products they sell my first visit will probably be my last.
P.S I hope my gloves don’t fall apart after a couple of uses

Horrible Customer Service
Attempting to get info on my order I was kept on hold for more than 30 minutes & kept hearing the same meaningless message, “Your business is important to us. We treat our customers like family. Someone will be with you in a moment” Clearly false statements as I waited for more than thirty minutes on one day, ending the call in frustration & needing to get back to work. The next time I called was early in the morning, same canned message, waited for close to an hour, again hanging up in frustration. Extremely poor, or should I say lacking customer service.

I purchased a circular saw blade for my husband today at the store in Bossier City, Louisiana. I attempted to use the 25% off coupon that was for today only, and I had a coupon for a free flashlight (valued at $3.99) Taylor told me that I couldn't use the coupon because the blade was an Admiral. I asked would it fit the saw my husband purchased and she said it would but I could not use the coupon. I told her that was fine, and I purchased it anyway. I asked for my 25% off coupon back and she said oh, I didn't give it back to you. She handed me a coupon and said it's only good for today. I told her that I know that and we have a Harbor Freight in Shreveport, Louisiana. She then proceeded to tell me to look on aisle 6 for the free flashlight. I informed her that I had looked and there were none on the shelf. The gentleman in line in front of me was given one from behind the counter where Taylor was standing ringing up my purchase. She then stated that some more had been put out and they don't usually give them out from the counter. When she finally pulled one out from behind the counter, she asked if I wanted a bag for my purchase. I said yes. She put the saw blade in the bad and then dropped the flashlight into the same bag. She was so RUDE!! I will never shop at Harbor Freight again. I can find plenty of places to spend my money.

Joining the club was a waste of money
Joining the club was a waste of money. Not only that but when I get the sales book and club discount book I've made a 25 minutes drive only to be told they are out of what I went after. Also I bought a toolbox bottom and they didn't have the matching top. I was told that they would be getting the matching top in. That was 8 months ago. I will never go back to harbor freight again. Take me off your mailing list and I hope you get drunk on my membership money I wasted

I purchased a Drillmaster 18V cordless…
I purchased a Drillmaster 18V cordless drill (68239) from Harbor Freight. The battery charger worked for one charge then quit. I bought another Drillmaster 18V cordless drill (68239) which remained in the original box for about a year unused, the battery charger worked for one charge then quit. Guess what I think about Harbor Freight!! Do you think I'll buy anything from them again. Do you think I'll inform everyone in my housing community and yacht club about Harbor Freight--you bet!!

poor service, do not order online
I ordered wet saw calling Harbor Fright sales. I was told that it will be delivered in 2 days. As it did not come at the expected time, I called customer service.
They told me that it will take two weeks, so I asked to cancel the order, as I needed it for the next day.
Two weeks later I got a call from RoadRunner Fright, to schedule a delivery from a company that I could not recognize the name. I called the dispatcher and asked if it could be from Harbor Fright, and it was, I called customer service, and they told me to refuse it, which I did over the phone. The product was never delivered.
Over a month later, and after many many calls to Harbor Fright customer sevice, and Roadrunner, the product is in the shipping company, waiting for Harbor Fright to approve delivery.
a month and half after the order, I never got credit for the product that never delivered, and the fright company has a tag to deliver it back, but does not know where is the product now. .
Calling customer service is a waist of time, they can not help you, and it is always your fault.
As I could not get the saw on time, I rushed to the store, and picked one (second Saw). A tile installer came to install tile in the kitchen, and I asked him if he wants to take the small job that I planned to do with the saw. His price was lower than the cost of the saw, so he did it for me.
I took the saw to the store (sealed, I never open the box). The cashier wanted 20% restocking fee.
Talking to the store manager he waived it !!!

3 weeks ago I purchased a Drill Master…
3 weeks ago I purchased a Drill Master 1/4 Sheet Orbital Sander at the Thornton CO store. I didn't get a chance to use it until today. When I opened the box, it was missing the dust catcher bag and it wouldn't run, the motor just buzzed. I went back to the store to exchange for one that worked. I was told without a receipt they couldn't give me my money back - I told them I don't want money, I want one that works! I couldn't find the receipt and I was told no exchange because I couldn't prove I bought it there - even though Harbor Freight is the only retailer in the area that carries that brand. I gave them the sander and told them to throw it away - it was of no use to me. I don't understand their exchange policy, they know I bought it there, they know it doesn't work, all I wanted was what I should have received when I bought the sander - a tool that works. It cost me 13.99, what it cost them is customers, neither I or any of my family or friends will ever shop there again. It's not surprising that the business is struggling - that's what happens when you treat your customers like crap.

Customer service is a joke
I ordered a 72” toolbox online and when I received it it was damaged. I called them and said that I want a replacement or a discount on the damaged one. After 2 days of not hearing anything from them I called back. They said they would refund me the shipping cost or send me a new one. I told them I wanted a new one and they said they will get it sent out and send someone to pick up the damaged one. They emailed me info on getting the damaged one picked up but nothing on the new one. When the pickup company called me they said they would not be able to pickup the box due to low power lines and that harbor freight would set it up with someone else. After another few days of not hearing anything I call them again. They tell me that the new box is on the way but the shipping number is wrong so they have to get the correct one and email me. After another 2 days of not hearing anything else I called them again. They tell me they don’t know where the box is and have no shipping info. But they tell me the damaged one if getting picked up when the new one is delivered. I told them I wanted to speak to a supervisor and was placed on hold for 10 minutes then the call got disconnected. So I called back and told them I want to speak to a manager or supervisor and got hung up on. Every time I called I was on hold between 35 and 55 minutes before someone answered. Then get placed on hold again every time I speak with them. I called again and told them I want a discount on the new box because of all the trouble I am having with them. They said no that they are sending a new box and that’s all I’m gonna get. I ordered the box 3 weeks ago and have been going through Hell the entire time. I have never had these issues in store and this is the first time buying online. I will never purchase anything from them online again and their customer service is a complete joke
