Harbor Freight ToolsReviews of harborfreight.com

I love Harbor Frieght, BUT, I ask an employee if a particular multimeter would Measure down to 1ohm. He said NO. I bought it anyway and it measures down to 1ohm and below. He actually did not know and simply guessed. And guessed WRONG. If one of my employees did that to one of my customers. They would be FIRED.

Do not buy a 25 Ft. Drain Cleaner With Drill Attachment at Harbor Freight unless you love being punished! Buy this tool if you love punishment! You are guaranteed to love it! It will break apart the first time you use it, and you will cherish the moment, remembering forever how " truly great" it is, and you will lust after it for more! My drain snake broke apart on it's first use just like another reviewer! The 2nd picture shows the snake put back inside of the unit in reverse to seal it's fate with the snake fully pushed inside of it (using a pen), and duct tape over the hole to prevent the snake from dangerously leaving the device ever again (to prevent a freak accident)! - Order # 4413635 After this experience I went to Home Depot and bought a really and great tool called: RIDGID PowerSpin Plus This tool works exceptionally well, and there is a cheaper model that you can't use a drill with called: RIDGID KwikSpin+ 1/4 in. x 25 ft. Auger Disclaimer: My 1 star across the board rating applies only to this product! For the record, almost all Harbor Freight Tools are great quality tools except for 3 things I bought over there which accounts for ~1% of what they sell from what I know! Employees at the stores do not care if a product is bad, and 1% of their products are awful, and worth avoiding!

I purchased several electric items from HF. I bought a 5 ton wood splitter and a air compressor. The wood splitter went out the end of the first year. The compressor less than 6 months. I did not have a service replacement contract and when I went looking for a repair facility..no such luck. Nobody wanted to mess with it. So, here I am with worthless stuff from HF. My recommendation, don't buy anything from HF without a service agreement. Better yet, don't buy at all!

I shop at your store in Farmington mo.63640 at least twice a week sometimes buy nothing but most times always purchase something.Returned an item for the first time and was charged $33 restocking fee, thats robbery I could of walked it back to the shelf myself for $33,you have lost a valuable customer and as Farmington is a tight little community I will be sure and get the word out about this through friends ,church, work and social media!!!

Best to avoid online shopping especially if you live in Canada. Harbour Freight refuses Canadian credit cards for online shopping and yet accept them if you shop in person! Come on Harbour Freight!

Do not ever order from their online store. I ordered a winch on October 22. The next day it still didn't ship so i tried to cancel order. Took 30 minutes to speak to a customer service person who said i couldn't cancel after the first 3 hours from time i put in order. So i went to store where they had 20 of the same item in stock. I purchased the item and figured I'd return the online item. Now it's November 7 and they charged my debit card on November 2 and item still hasn't shipped. And still can't cancel item. Had to go to my bank and dispute the charge, which could take up to 90 days. It's criminal that i can't get my 90 dollars back and a billion dollar company holds my money. I'll never shop at there stores again. Tools are real garbage anyway. Boycott this store. Their criminals

They said my coupon didnt match so watch out for them they are slimy even manager didnt even help so watch out

store# A0005, 2 bad winches in one day and on my third 9000# badland.i know this winch has good reviews, i got that, what i dont get: harbor is billion dollar company with some of the poorest business/sales skills ive seen. you would think with a brilliant logistical software systems and advertising, they cud master the art sales-management professional skill set. every company has discretionary leeway on these kind of issues and acknowledges this was a bad deal and we can make it right. No, thats bull- from my experience today, doesnt mater how many bad part or tools, equipment they sell, u can have refund exchange or money back and sorry, upgrade to something better? its laughable a billion dollar company knows they sell expendable tools and so what/ they make fortune on this import stuff, its turn and burn. change your policy- customer satisfaction rules, I guess buying tools that are in 300-500 range is a commodity and treated the same as if you were buying 2 dollar screwdriver.
