Bought a Drill Master, after a while there was a recall. Took it ot the store and they gave me a hard time. Finally an old store employee told them how to find out about recalls. They changed it. After using it 5 times the battery wouldn't charge. Took it to the store, they couldn't find anything that mentioned that my drill was changed. I sent emails and called and NO ONE ever got back with me. The CEO sends emails saying how good his company is and how he stands behind his products and hiw good his employees are. Seriously? He needs to do a little research on how bad his employees and his customer service is. I now have a nice paper weight in the form of a battery. In this page it says that they will notify HF about this. I bet anything that they have never received an answer.

Tried talking to customer service about the backhoe and the girl got rude with me so I asked to speak to her manager and she hung up on me called back and same thing the other girl would not listen to me and when I asked for management she hung up on me .to let people know you can have them remove your info from there system and you dont have to use your phone number best to just go somewhere else

Terrible be careful what you buy and if you do a pre-sale crap it may take months to get what you've already paid for and people in the stores in some places especially the females are rude and don't give a damn they're only there for a check

On Saturday March 13th I went to my local Harbor Freight. As I entered the store, there were 3 signs, one freestanding and two on the door stating that masks are "REQUIRED" to enter. Once inside I saw several (at least 5) customers with no masks and while every employee had a mask on, only one was wearing it correctly. All of the others had their noses uncovered. I quickly grabbed my purchases and went to the register. I communicated my observation to the cashier. A manager who was standing to the side spoke up and said that the signs were "a suggestion". I pointed out that "required" is not a suggestive word and that something like "appreciated, encouraged or recommended" would be more appropriate. She simply looked at me and said "It's a suggestion". Unhappy with this response, I tried to call customer service. After waiting on hold for 15 minutes, I hung up and wrote an email to the address provided on their website. It's now been 4 days and I have not received any response. Harbor freight is a discount store and I do not expect much from their customer service but I do believe it is irresponsible and deceptive for them to put up signage that would make be believe that I am entering a safe shopping environment when I am not. It is worth noting that I don't care what their actual policy regarding masks is. I only want them to be up front and honest about the policy so that potential customers can make an informed decision about whether or not they are comfortable entering a store that does not require it's customers and staff to adhere to safe practices during a health crisis.

First time customer: I pick out a few things on sale for members. I ask if I can sign up now and get that pricing. Cashier said yes. I gave him all my info, all the people behind me could hear it clearly unfortunately for scammers. So I tolerate it to save a few dollars. Come to find out from the district manager Lauren C. that her employee failed to enter the override code. She instructed me to return for a refund. I told her I'm almost 20 miles each way from the store, can we do it over the phone? Because it wasn't my error in the first place. Why should I pay $4 a gallon times 3 gallons to get $6 back in "savings"? Obviously that's ridiculous. I told her I would be honest in a Yelp review and Lauren C could care less. I'm concerned she's a Racist and judged me by my "urban" accent. I'll be contacting corporate and update this review. I attached my receipt for Absolute proof. I didn't realize Harbor Freight was at the Kmart level. I honestly thought it was a more upscale place. I'll end up losing this money as I'll never pay $12 in gas to return for $7. I think there should be an investigation and listen to the tapes of my convo with Lauren C

I have bought tools at Harbor Freight in-store for like 25 years. I like them. Since covid, and since I can't drive I tried online. It takes way too long to get your stuff and if you have a defective item they do not want you to return it, and throw up obstacles wherever they can. There is no webpage form to request a replacement, and you can forget a refund. I ordered a tool chest that was badly damaged when it arrived. Customer service says they can't email me a return label and must snail-mail it. It was supposed to arrive in 11 days (?!), it's now been 17. I don't like making Jeff Bezos richer, but it seems that HB doesn't want online business.

Unbelievably terrible. Words can't express how truly bad this company is. I'm a quality engineer of 20 years and never have i seen garbage such as this. I bought a simple 1-1/4 cu' cement mixer on March 6th, '21. The assembly instructions are garbage. There is nothing on the box explaining additional tools needed. At least 3 times it states, "not included" in the instructions. I needed gasket sealer, not included. That's something you need to know before you get halfway through the build. Before I could get the first part together I found the bolt holes wouldn't align. I returned it for a new box. Started the assembly again and the instructions are so bad that I got the barrel completely assembled when it informed me about the gasket sealer. Took it apart and had to wait a day to get sealer. Started again and found that the bolt for the barrel rotation arm was the wrong bolt. Bought the right one from Lowe's. Got to the end and was mounting the motor and found the drum pulley is wrong; no Allen key to tighten. Jumped online to get operating hours and had one hour before closing. Thought i could jump in, get the right pulley and back home in time to finish up and be ready for my project in the morning (that I've already postponed for one week because of the issues) Arrived at 7pm on the dot and, it was closed. Online hours say 8pm. Called store while sitting in parking lot and was told temporary hours are clearly marked, online and on the door. They were so clearly marked that 11 other people drove up to do business only to find it was clearly closed. The quality of the parts and the quality of the manuals are so bad that I could never purchase anything from them again. The extra cost from another store is far and away worth it.

The Inside Track membership is a scam. They don't honor the advertised prices and good luck reaching customer service. Even if you do reach them they just 'yes' you and never call back.
