Bought a power drill (first time used it started pouring smoke out of the windings). Went to return it, they said they could not refund it at that register. The guy in front of me just returned a piece of merchandise and clerk said he would have it back on his credit card in 2-3 days. Wife returned it several days later (same register) clerk said would be put back on credit card in 2-3 days. Whaaaaat!!!! Through with their service and crap they sell..

I bought a $350.00 security system, and had to return it due to malfunctions. The return didn't show up on the credit card. I was told I had to wait 10 days, and thus had to pay the credit card company, even though the item had been returned. In this day and age, there is absolutely no excuse for a 10 day wait for a credit. This is deliberate, and is done to hold money so they can use it during the interim. Because of this, I will not be buying any large items from Harbor Freight again, and will return the second security system as well.

Do not buy any winches from harbor freight, they have a bar that's supposed to hold tension on your cable, the only time it does is when you want to freewheel the cable.Also they kink your cable all to hell the way they wind it up

I do not recommend it is cheap and I am disappointed because they charged me $ 24 for Restock fee that is not done Walmart or Home depot or Lowes , I honestly do not buy again and this Avanti airbrush very cheap made in china, when you use it it does not vote much air and the paint does not come out well that you take a long time to paint something and the PSI does not go up to 20 sincerely Harbor Freight is a fraud

There is a location of this store right down the street from my house in Sparks NV. As much as I despise this store I will get sucked into going there every few months. There is not one time that I went tbhere that I did not leave seathing with anger and fury at the terrible customer service, inept cashiers and over-all disregard for basic principles of business. I ran supermarkets for a local concern for 31 years. When the cashier sees that her line of customers has grown to half the length of tyhe store. A "service 6" call brings every employee, including the manager on duty, running, I MEAN RUNNING, to the front to get the lines down quickly. In this store the cashier never, ever calls anyone. Tonight I stood in line holding 110.00 worth of purchases in my arms while she has a social hour with the customer. I was 4th in line of 12 customers. When I finally got to the checkstand and she was ringing up my purchases (Could she possibly be checking the items extra slow since she could obbviously tell is was angry?). She placed three of my items in a bag and said she couldn't find a bag large enough for the rest of my items. Deliberately angtagonizing me. I took the pile of items she pushed towards me and placed all but two in the same bag. IF SHE WERE IN A CHECKSTAND AT MY SUPERMARKET AND IHAD OBSERVED HER TREATING A PAYING CUSTOMER IN SUCH A CHILDISH AND RUDE MANNER iIWOULD HAVE FIRED HER IN FRONT OF THE ENTIRE STAFF SO FAST HER NECK WOULD HAVE SNAPPED. Does no one understand the meaning of customer service anymore? Get ready to toss Harbor freight on the scrap heap of K-Mart, Sears and other businesses that did not value the principles of customer service. Ok...Im done.

If your in harbor freight only buy pittsburgh tools. No other tool in the house is worth owning. You can find good tape, batteries, cords, flashlights, brushes, and unique little knick knacks. But if you buy a power tool ask yourself if 80% off something you plug in to the wall is a good idea. Some items you want to pay a little more for.

Harbor Freight constantly has a 20% coupon on its page.When you go to pay for something they will not honor the 20% .Harbor Freight why do you continue to advertise if you won't Honor?

Bought a bench grinder stand. No hardware in box. I drove back to the Covington store and was told they would ship them to me. Bought a 16x30 polypropylene cart. No hardware in box. Drive back to Covington store to hear the would ship them to me. Fourteen emails later they say I am screwed. They cannot get hardware for either one. I had to buy the hardware at Lowes. Then they said they would send gift card to make up the cost. Never got it. They sell cheap Chinese crap and do not stand behind it. At least Northern Tools honor the warranty on their cheap crap.
