I was just in the Harbor Freight in Bullhead City, Az. There was halogen lights on sale right in front of the register with the price stating they were $11.99. I grabbed one because it was a good price. It rang up at 49.99. So the cashier walked over to them looked and said, "Somebody's going to be in trouble." Obviously somebody put them in the wrong spot. When that happens its always been my experience that the store has to sell it to you at the price advertised/in front of item. Not Harbor Freight!! The manager came over and pushed them over and said, "Oh these belong over here." Dirty dirty dirty liar. Bad business because they just lost mine.

When I went to return an item to a local store, they wouldn't let me. They said I would have to ship it back. After about 20 minutes waiting to talk to a human being, a girl/lady came on and assured me that she would email a return label. So far, nothing!

I recently purchased two items from Harbor Freight. The first was a $129 spindle sander. It broke after four months. They wouldn't return the item because it was one week beyond the 90 day return period. The second item was a mechanic's roller seat. This item was missing parts from the box. I didn't have a receipt because it was a gift, but they still would not honor a return. The item was brand new and missing parts!!!! Do not shop at Harbor Freight. They sell terrible products and don't back up their products. If I could give them 0 stars, I would.

i recently purchased a tool stand to put a grinder on. Unfortunately the stand is so flimsy it is unusable. All welds are crooked, and the lockscrew which holds the top onto the post does not work because the tube that it screws onto is too flimsy !

NEVER SHOP AT HARBOR FREIGHT!!! THE COMPANY ALLOWS THEIR MANAGERS TO TAKE YOUR RETURN RECEIPTS, PRINT NEW ONES, AND STEAL YOUR MONEY!!! THEM RASCALS STOLE $100 FROM ME AT HARBOR FREIGHT BEAUFORT, SC ***UPDATE*** CHECKED THE LOCAL TAX RECORDS AND GUESS WHAT??? THEY DON'T EVEN SHOW BUSINESS BUILDING THERE, THE PROPERTY IS VALUED OVER 2MIL AND THE OWNER IS IN NEW YORK AND ONLY PAID $100+/- IN TAXES!! COME ON!!! MUST BE SOME SHADY COOPERATION BY MANY... I FORGIVE THEM, CAUSE THEY ARE NOT WORTH GOING TO HELL OVER... THEY WON'T GET ANOTHER MINUTE OF MY TIME OR THOUGHTS...

Ordered stuff online they never even shipped it

I was looking for a paint spray gun and found one reasonably priced on harbor freight. I had only heard of them through YouTube videos so decided to order about 10 items on Oct 31st. After a week and a half I received my brush cleaning kit but not the other items. I checked the tracking number provided for USPS but nothing could be found. I checked my account for an order update but kept getting an error message. After 2 weeks I called to see what happened and they told me to wait 20 business days and call back. I called back after 23 business days and they still didn't have an update and told me that because it was shipped through USPS parcel there's no way to track it. THEN WHY PROVIDE ME A FAKE TRACKING NUMBER?!? Odd because the one item I did receive came all the way from the east coast to Hawaii and made it but the items from California haven't made it. They put in a note for if it hadn't arrived by December 17th, to call and initiate a refund. I called today on the 17th, and now I'm being told I can't get a refund until 45 days after the date I ordered on Oct 31st! Never ordering from them again and DO NOT recommend this company. I have to open an investigation now with my bank.

Bought a 3/8 drive ratcheting torque wrench to use on occasion working on aircraft. It came due for calibration in a little less than a year. It failed to meet specifications and was reading high. The calibration shop found it was broken internally and no parts available. I took it back to the store which refused to guarantee it. I replaced it with a Snap On torque wrench, which I should have done to begin with.
