I bought an opened bix with a drywall gun and brought it back a couple days later bc it was to big for alot of spaces to get in with it and it really lacked power for being a power tool that u plug in . After the 8 to 10th screw I gave up with it and decided to return itbc it didn't work good. Brought it back to store on rt. 44 raynham mass. I had to pay 10$ on a 50$ tool that sucked for restocking fees and bc it was opened. It was opened when i purchased it and worker and myself made sure all was in it and it was . The manager with the penciled in eyebrows smmfh gave me such a bad attitude and would not accept my issue with that tool. Ive spent nearly 3000$ ther since last August of 2022 snd I'll never go ther again for life . Tractor supplies stores have same stuff and cheaper and really good customer service, especially in Swansea mass. Bit of a drive for me but definitely wayyyy worth the treatment they give u... unbelievable in this world now smh......

Well to start I go in and I'm looking for a motorcycle jack, and it was close to the end of the night, I will give them that, so they went back to look and they didn't have it in stock and I got mad and left because it was time for them to close. The next time I come which is today I go in and I find this motorcycle jack they have priced at $139.99 they called off the numbers and they brought it out and it was the wrong Jack, so I told him it was the wrong Jack, they went back and got the right jack with the same numbers that I called off the price tag and they rang it up and it came to $229.99, so I questioned them and asked them as to why I'm paying $229 when the price tag clearly said 139.99 so a guy goes back and he looks with me and he says ohh well the price tag isn't in the right spot nor on the right thing. (Not my fault and shouldn't be my problem. (I felt as if they were calling me a liar and I felt as if they were trying to make me feel like I did something wrong) I'm like well apparently not, so I don't get a discount, I don't get to keep the product at the price $139.99, I felt like a criminal for even asking and I shouldn't have and I felt like an idiot leaving the store, while they didn't care because whatever reason. I'm probably never going to set foot back in this place again because of it. So yeah harbor freight here in selinsgrove is not the place to go because they suck!

The generator was defective, thus when I returned the generator and battery I was charged a RESTOCKING FEE for something that I hope was NOT RESTOCKED! Don't trust this company when you buy high dollar items and they arrive defective! They try and force you to take a replacement! There were two generators I considered, one from this company, the Predator 9000, and the Westinghouse 9500 unit, comparable in price. I chose the Predator, major mistake, it arrived with no negative battery cable, that did not bother me much, it was the LOUSY CUSTOMER SERVICE! When I called to see if I could get it replaced, I got a 3 hour run-a-round before finally being told that it came that way and I had to but the negative post! It was at that point I knew I didn't want to deal with this company and any product! Then I met the Sales Manager at the Conroe Harbor Freight Store, in Conroe, TX right off I-45, this person told me it's company policy to ALWAYS charge a 20% restocking fee defective or not! I showed him in writing where it says "May Charge", he said no, Harbor Freight ALWAYS charges the 20% restocking fee even on DEFECTIVE EQUIPMENT! I recommend going somewhere else, it's safer! The company forced all of us to take personal customer information or face penalties on our reviews or worse. the company never does full investigations of missing cash or payments and simply blames it on on cashiers when it is higher ups stealing or IT glitches.

I was one of the unfortunate chumps that purchased a high dollar item, a Predator 9000 Generator from this lying crooks at Harbor Freight! RETURNING ITEMS PURCHASED ONLINE If for any reason you are not satisfied with an item purchased from Harbor Freight Tools, you may return the product within 90 days for a full refund or replacement, whichever you prefer. The limited warranty term is 90-days beginning on the date of purchase or order. You must provide a copy of your packing slip or order with the item listed. Shipping and handling charges are nonrefundable. The unit I purchased from them was returned because it was "MISSING" the negative power cord for the battery. I called the "CURT" customer service and ultimately told the unit was sold without the cord, however after he read the "Owners Manual" he recanted that absurd statement. I that point I was sure purchasing this item from Harbor Freight was a mistake and decided to take advantage of the full refund, but then I learned of the Harbor Freight "SCAM" RE-STOCKING FEES A 20% re-stocking fee may apply to an item being returned. Items with a 20% re-stocking fee are subject to change at any time. See an associate for details or call Customer Service at 1-800-444-3353. "may apply" means always under all circumstances! I was charged a "RE-STOCKING FEES" $176.00 for returning a "DEFECTIVE" generator because I opened the box, of course I opened the box, if not how would I know the the generator was "DEFECTIVE". However, what really bothered me, and the real reason I wanted a refund is because of the "CUSTOMER SERVICE", and the total lack of knowledge about the product line, and further, leaving me on "HOLD" for some 30 to 40 minutes! It was at that point I'd lost what little trust in the product or the company, Harbor Freight" that I had. Be warned, spend your money somewhere else that doesn't have duplicitously "SLEAZY" business practices like Harbor Freight. Either a company stands behind there products, or they don't! This incident should tell anyone concerned, be forewarned that the "Predator Generator Brand" should be suspect and is not to be trusted! Missing the "Negative Battery Cable" shear incompetence!

The cus service in Clarksville TN is so aweful I avoid getting their products. Especially the managers like Angelica. Products aren't worth the bad service. Crappy quality and crappy service is a bad combo. Lowes or even Walmart have better selections sometimes for your price and they usually have way better cus service.

I spent over $8000 on a ICON tool cabinet system at Harbor Freight. When it was delivered it was damaged and they brought a cabinet I did not order and did not bring one of the cabinets I paid for. I was told the driver would unload and do minimal set up. The driver was by himself and was unable to get the cabinets off the truck by himself. I and one of my employees had to get in the truck to help unload. The driver would not uncrate the cabinets and would not take the wrong cabinet back with him. I was told the correct cabinet would be available in about a week. Then I was told it would Jan 25. This week I got multiple calls from Harbor Freight. I person said my cabinet was still back ordered until Jan 25. A different person said my cabinet was in a San Antonio store, but I would have to come and pick it up. Another said it was going to be delivered to my home instead of my ranch where they delivered the first cabinets. The last person I spoke to said the cabinet would be delivered today by a new carrier. I drove 72 miles to my ranch just to be there for delivery and to inspect the new one for damage. No one showed up today and no one called. Still no cabinet. There have been other issues with the cabinet, but not worth listing them here in this already long review. Do not buy the ICON Tool Cabinets from Harbor Freight. There are other vendors that carry them and that will follow up on their commitments.

Watch out for their bait and switch and false advertising. They will do anything to get you into the store but when you get there, don't be surprised if they won't honor their coupons. For example, after New Year they offered a 25% coupon for "ANY" one item. I bought about 10 items that day expecting that the 25% would apply to the most expensive item. As it turned out, they had a lot of exclusions in very small print and only the cheapest item applied and I saved a whopping $2. Many people in the store were angry about this because the word "any" is self explanatory and the dictionary definition means just that "ANY." My friend just cancelled his membership with them because of these dishonest (and probably illegal) sales tactics and I will think twice before going back.
