The product was so greasy I couldn't…
The product was so greasy I couldn't style my hair well in the morning. Rogaine foam helped the appearance when drying it. Not sure why it has to be so oily.

Hi Tom! Thank you so much for bringing this to our attention. Our product contains aloe vera in the base to help soothe the scalp, which makes it feel greasy as a result. The aloe adds a bit of texture, but it helps lessen any dryness or irritation the Minoxidil and/or Retinoic Acid may cause. Our doctors recommend applying the product to damp hair and rinsing it out after 2 hours. Doing so won’t decrease the medication’s efficacy. You also have the option to remove the aloe vera from your formula if you’d prefer. Made my hair noticeably worse
Used happy heads for 6 months after wanting a different option from oral fin topical min and my hair has gotten considerably worse. The worst it’s ever been. Happy heads leaves a weird build up on my scalp and sweats off my scalp all over my face. I emailed the CS team about why I cancelled and they didn’t respond even though they’re the ones who asked why I cancelled. Despite following their usage instructions I have multiple other bottles left over worth hundreds of dollars that are useless and ineffective. Will be switching to Hims spray or back to topical min spray and oral fin.

Definitely noticed thicker and fuller…
Definitely noticed thicker and fuller hair and hair growth on receding hair line about 2 to 3 months in.

Not worth the price
It was ok. It helped to regrow some hair but nothing more noticeable than generic Rogaine you can get at the drugstore for much cheaper. And only helps to regrow on the crown of the head. It also left a crusty film on the scalp that would make styling more difficult and flake off

Hi, Hugh- Every person is different and will react differently to each medicine. That's why we emphasize customizing the formulation for every individual, so perhaps there's a different solution that would work better for you. Like all other hair medicine, Happy Head requires consistent use (2x per day, morning and night) and may take up to 6 consecutive months to see any type of results. Also, our product has an aloe vera base. The aloe adds a bit of texture, but it helps lessen any dryness or irritation the Minoxidil and/or Retinoic Acid may cause. That being said, we can remove it from your formula if you’d prefer. Severe side effects
[Edit: Thank you to the customer service team for reaching out to me. I have amended my review after your detailed responses and effort to offer alternative products per my inquiry. I understand that your company is not the creator/producer of Finasteride but I encourage any potential user of this that drug to be EXTREMELY careful because the side effects are downright scary.] Tried one of the topical products with a combo of Minoxidil, Finasteride and other ingredients. After a week of usage, suffered SEVERE side effects including racing heart, cold sweats, ache/pain in right testicle radiating up towards lower stomach and around the lower back. Upon further research such as medical analysis and studies, Finasteride can effect/damage the pudendal nerve as well as kidneys!
