I’m disappointed with my experience with Happy Head. I felt I wasn’t getting the results I wanted, so I contacted customer service to ask whether I could increase my oral minoxidil dose while keeping my dutasteride dose the same. I was told that this would not be possible. Months went by, and I eventually discovered that other companies offered the same medications with higher doses of minoxidil, often at a lower price. I contacted Happy Head again to revisit the possibility of increasing my minoxidil without changing my dutasteride dose, but I was once again told that it wasn’t possible. I then explained that, if they couldn’t accommodate my request, I would prefer to cancel my subscription because I could get the same medications at a higher minoxidil dose for less money elsewhere. After placing me on hold for approximately five minutes, the representative returned with an alternative: they could provide an additional 1.25 mg minoxidil pill, bringing my total daily dose to 2.5 mg, for an additional $20 per month. This was exactly the dosage adjustment I had originally requested, yet I had initially been told it wasn’t possible. I declined because paying an extra $20 per month for an additional pill didn’t make financial sense when other companies offered the medication at my desired dosage for less AND in one pill, not two. After another hold, they offered me 50% off my next five orders. I appreciated the offer, but it still didn’t address my main concern: I could obtain the same treatment, at the dosage I wanted, for a lower price elsewhere. I ultimately canceled my subscription. My frustration isn’t with the customer service representative personally. It’s with the overall experience. I shouldn’t have had to repeatedly ask for a dosage adjustment, threaten to cancel my subscription, and go through multiple holds before being offered an option that addressed my original request. The fact that these options only came up once I was trying to leave left me with a negative impression of the company. Ultimately, I want a provider that offers reasonable treatment options, transparent pricing, and a straightforward customer experience. Unfortunately, Happy Head fell short of those expectations, and I’ve decided to take my business elsewhere. The representative who helped me was really nice though.

The team is very responsive and knowledgeable in terms of the variety of options that are available for treatment. They follow up and accommodate and it's so helpful when trying to navigate hair loss issues
