Spills even on lowest setting and is super loud
the fountain shoots water out so wildly that it spills on the floor even on the lowest setting. the fountain is also LOUD if its not fully filled edit: The fountain is loud if the bowl isn't more than 3/4 filled because the water trickles down and hits the water, not because of the pump. Also, I have followed all the instructions and installed the pump correctly at the absolute lowest setting and it spills constantly. This is just a bad product and if you go online other people are having the same issue.

Based on the information you provided, it seems that the water splashing and loud noise may be due to the water level being below the pump's water line, causing the pump to operate in an empty space and generate noise. Additionally, the water splashing could be a result of improper installation of the hose on top of the pump. Please double-check if the hose is correctly installed. Once you have ensured the hose is properly installed, try adjusting the water flow to a lower setting. This should help resolve the issue. Both items I received were used
Both items I received were used, and one of them broken. Fixed and polished up myself rather than go through the hassle of returns. Not buying again from H&P

The cat fountain I purchased was…
The cat fountain I purchased was broken. I tried to contact customer service, but was only able to reach automated AI chatbots. So now I can't do a return. It was a total waste of money. Anytime something like this happens I equate it to how much work it cost me to purchase an item. How many hours did I have to work to pay for something that is now wasted?

Overall bad quality
Overall bad quality I received a water fountain with a defective pump and they had me do to much in order to reach a agreement on whether they would send me a replacement - Mind you I did everything they asked and they kept asking for more pictures after I told them that I was missing pieces and the pump made a loud noise. I was over it (never reached agreement they keep asking for more proof I was annoyed with them) so I contacted paypal and got a refund. The cat tree I got is also already falling apart only had it for a month.

Return policy
Very unhappy with the policy that you cannot return after assembled. I understand if used, but not assembled.

The item arrived looking dirty and old
The item arrived looking dirty and old. NO instructions on how to assemble pieces tried going by the picture and ruined the set up. items are not what they appear and this company seems more like a rip off. Oh my cat loved the box that junk arrived in!

They have a very shady return policy
They have a very shady return policy. I recently purchased an item, discovered it was too small after assembly part of it - completely unused. And even then, they would not accept the return, I think this company is a drop shipping scam.
