Siding
July 2014 Hansons salespersons sold us insulated siding at premium cost. Installed in Aug 2014 (in the rain). Was horribly warped and torn off in Jun 2016 they said it was due to the premium insulated siding and replaced with cheaper non insulated in June 2016, which we received no rebate. The new siding is just as bad as the first job done. Hansons would not reply or let us post pics. Now they want 99.00 to come look at it! Our neighbors even tell us how ugly it is. Phone tag with them goes on and on.
Desired outcome: We paid full price and only want the workmanship we were promised.

Dont BUY into the Tall tales of how great they say they are!!
If you have issues with your project do not expect to talk to a foreman, representative, or project manager! Just send pictures so they can take twice as long to complete the project the wrong way again. One thing you do not have to worry about being asked for your money! I deal with contractors daily! I have never EVER had an issue contacting a contractor about issues and they show up for discussion!!!

Don’t believe that you matter once you write the check
STAY AWAY FROM THIS COMPANY, Hansons word (warranty) isn’t worth spit. They talk a good game regarding a 30 year warranty on the roof, until it is time to back it up. Thanks to Hansons improper installation, my attic is now full of mold. Even though it was Hansons that installed my ventilation, they are blaming the mold on in adequate ventilation, and refusing to fix it.
Save yourself from the stress of endless time on the phone and arguing your point. Waste of money

⚠️⚠️ Warning ⚠️⚠️
⚠️⚠️ Warning ⚠️⚠️ Came to our home and quoted a sliding door ... we turned the estimate in to the insurance company and received a check for the amount quoted. W e had them come out and pick up the check and they said they misquoted, it would be 2 grand more . Now the insurance company doesn't want to pay for a real company to come out ... DON'T USE HANSON !!! UPDATE ... It's been 2 months and they haven't returned our money !!! Do not use these scam artists

Terrible siding done.
Just look at the siding that Hanson's did and this is after they came out and fixed it. The neighbors have stated how bad it looks. I was unable to post a picture and to select the proper date.

COMPANY IS A FRAUD
Nov 2021- roof replaced. There were so many nails around my yard I lost count. Dec 2021 parts of said roof on two of the 3 structures blow off due to faulty installation. Debris all over the entire neighborhood, nails all over after we just cleaned up what was left after install, shingles in flowerbed, yard, streets. Not to mention the shingles that blew of are all broken into jagged pieces really making me question their quality. Dec-May 2022 after numerous calls to the company, visits from "managers" to my property to take photos, I sit and wait. July 2022 roof is scheduled to be repaired, contractor shows with no materials to repair, has to return that weekend. July 2022-current day I fight with them to get the interior water damages caused by bare patches of roof paid for. They sent out someone to look at the damages, scheduled and cancelled so many times I missed days of work waiting around for no one to show. He acted like they would cover damages and told me to get estimates myself because the company doesn't do interior sheetrock. After all of that headache and missing more work to get contractor estimates, they force you to use your homeowners insurance for any and all comprehensive damages caused by the poor installation. In the contract they make it read like that is only during the installation process not after work is completed. I only recently was told that Hanson's subcontracts out the installation and it is not performed by "them" so you they have no liability over the damage. I paid close to $30,000 for the roof to wait 7 months for repairs and a year plus to be told the truth about how they work. Do not waste your time or money thinking you have a lifetime warranty and use someone local who cares about their reputation.
UPDATE: they attempted to force me into an agreement just to re-turn my insurance deductible that THEY AGREE TO IN THE CONTRACT prior to installation. Example:This will serve as a full and final settlement for any ,and all alleged interior issues that may have arisen out of the above install contract # ***** between 1-800-Hanosns LLC, and ****
have an amicable settlement to a disputed matter.
1-800-hansons will provide a reimbursement of $ for documented deductible for the alleged property damage ARISINNG OUT OF CONTRACT ****
home owners insurance quote.
This agreement is a private matter and considered a non-disparagement agreement between all parties.
Please reply I/We agree.
Needless to say I will not reply with anything other than pointing out the fact they are in breach of their own contract by not reimbursing the deductible.

1800hansons terrible
We agreed to have hansons replace our roof, gutters and replace the facia on our home. We had a number of businesses give us estimates and they were not the cheapest, but they told us they would be able to do the job the soonest. We waited and waited, contacted them numerous times, received a number of "your installation will be" emails. Finally after many weeks, they came and did our roof. They did a great job. Looks good. They only replaced a small piece of board (the person said we probably wouldnt get charged cause it wasnt even a full board). So, we waited again for the gutters and facia to be installed. We waited and we waited. Called about when it was going to be done, received emails about installation, blah, blah, blah. They finally came out a few days ago. The roof was done in July, its January of the next year. After, the workers were finished, my husband gets a call about the completion. When he told them, it was not good. That they put facia on part of the front and one side. then the other side the new facia was wrapped around about a foot onto the old facia. Looks awful. The caller asked how it was, he stated it looks like a patch job. She ignored that and said you need to pay $110 right now for the board that was used on the roof. And then to top it off, she said the financing, which they ran through, had expired. THEY TOOK SO LONG TO GET THE JOB DONE THAT OUR FINANCING HAD EXPIRED. So, very upset with this company. The quality of the roof job was great. The actual workers who did the work were very nice, but when you take 7 to 8 months to even start the job after you tell your customer 6 to 8 weeks. i wish there was a zero star rating.

UPDATE Just got off the phone with the…
UPDATE Just got off the phone with the area manager, he claims he didn't say this would be done by winter, which is untrue, luckily I have witnesses to that call, I cancelled, we went back and forth and he said he will turn it over to his collection department and that I will owe 30%. He said I signed a contract...
We are 5 months into this over $27,000 order, not including the $110 permit i regret paying for and the potential $1600 for osb board and 1x6's for soffit, met with them July 13th, I sent info to cancel 9 windows, 1 sliding door and siding and soffit on a doormer ( less than 2 squares) September 6th, was sent a text from the office with colors confirming what we ordered, was completely wrong, replied no to confirm, was told file would be sent for cancellation, area manager called me same day said I couldn't cancel as the windows were already ordered, which I find odd as I never confirmed. He told me I would have to pay a ridiculous percentage of the overall quote, I advised we were told this would not work as it would put the install in the middle of the winter, he guaranteed me it would be before winter. Got a message Novenber 3rd that I had to pay for the permit, which we did assuming they were ready to install and we'll nothing Here we are December 8th 2022 no new windows doors and siding have 5 feet of snow already and supposed to get 3 more feet this weekend. And 4wd and chains required where we live and no trailers allowed, will see how this works out and my next move from here. Pretty upsetting situation! If I were you keep looking, you can get better quality, customer service elsewhere more affordable. Definitely felt we were taken advantage of at this point and have been lied too, I suggest you read all the reviews over the last 2 years, we should have been more proactive in reading them. Probably one if the biggest most expensive mistakes we have ever made. Also they send "general messages" text to you counting down the weeks until the windows and siding are here, I contacted them multiple times questioning the time line, they said not to worry the project would be done before winter and before the "general messages" state it would be done.
