i have been trying to get these people to fix the bad siding job for 4 years now...they sent out a guy to check the installation and he said it all needed to come down and be replaced due to bad installation.... the insulation they used is causing the siding to buckle...the siding has fallen down over the kitchen window 4 times, they came out in July and promised to fix it right, leaving the siding laying on the ground under my window...still have not heard back from them and the siding is still an eye sore....do not trust these people

very poor customer service
very poor customer service. I regret having my windows installed with 1800 Hanson. First, my installation got delayed by 2 months. Then, they sent me sub contractors to complete the installation, which has not been done correctly. for example, many metal screws were added to the let to windows that are not part of the design and look ugly, the team did damage my bathroom door, screen door bent and damaged, sub contractors are like Craiglist handyman with no badge or sign on the truck........ I gently called 1800Hanson and asked for a quality inspection. it looks like all they care about is the payment and not the quality of their product. Then a lady called me threatening me to either make the payment immediately or it goes to collection without first taking care of my issues. what an attitude and customer service. Plus, I don't have a written warranty. This is purely a scam. they take your business, sub sell it to a local sub contractor, and take their portion or the cake

Thought I was getting a fantastic deal especially with the yearly check included in my contract. First year I called to schedule the yearly check, I was told "we don't do that anymore" even though it's in my contract. They did say they came out when I wasn't home and didn't see all the tiles lifting up from the edges. When I called back they told me to send pictures and that if they came out again they'd charge me and that unless there's damage to my house they won't fix it. I was a struggling single parent of 3 at the time and didn't have a smartphone. I have buckling tiles now and have anxiety just thinking of trying to get Hanson's to honor my contract with them

I am currently getting ready to move…
I am currently getting ready to move into a home that needs a cple of windows replaced, some roof repair and some siding repair. I called hansons to schedule an appointment for June 27th 2023 and I was told that I cannot schedule any further out than June 6th 2023. I work for a cabinet/granite company and we will schedule people a year out. The company I work for would rather have a year's full of work instead of one week's worth of work. The reason I want to schedule on June 27th 2023 is because I am moving into the home on June 26th 2023 and I am going to have several contractors at my home on the 27th of June to give me estimates on different work that I want done. I will never use a company that forces you to schedule within a week out. Many people plan ahead for a certain day for certain reasons. Hansons lost my business and anyone else I know that is looking for window/roof repair or replacement3

Dealing with Hanson's has been a nightmare.
We decided to go with this company for our new bath and shower that we have waited over 20 years to do. We had all the confidence in the world in this company and wow, what a huge disappointment! Actually, a disappointment is an understatement. It has been a complete nightmare. The initial install began back in November 2022 and now it has been 6 months later and like 4 or 5 "repair" visits and it is still going on. Yes, some of the issues have been repaired but each time there are still issues that keep going on and on. First of all, this company has a BAIT AND SWITCH way of doing business. Their salesman told us exactly what we wanted to hear to get the sale. He explained how the bath tub and shower walls would be precisely cut to custom fit our shower, how installation would be and visually showed us with his samples. This was a lie. We asked many questions pertaining to this because we absolutely did not want the same set up we already had, nor issues we already had. He told us that any walls or flooring would be replaced behind the walls and under the tub where needed so to ensure proper installation and no give in the walls, they would be backed and be solid. Well that is not what happened with the walls at all. A complete bait and switch, we feel so taken advantage of. This was a huge for us, we were so excited. We would have a new bath and shower in just one day, maybe two and then go back to normal or so we thought. The sheets of walls are cut with crooked lines, not straight cuts at all. The gaps where the walls meet each other or meet the tub are all different widths therefore the caulk isn't just one smooth line, the caulk is a disaster, some spots smooth and some spots still beads and bumpy. They did come back to repair the pushed in walls and some other issues but we still can not put our bathroom back together yet because the install tech broke a floor tile on the first install appointment and didn't even bother to tell me. I had to ask him about it. We had an extra tile and he replaced it with adhesive on one of his repair visits and said that's all he can do. Now that is uneven with the rest of the floor tiles and not grouted. It will break again anyway because it is uneven. Since we don't have anymore floor tiles, now we have to have a whole ceramic tile floor installed properly and have a plumber come out to reinstall the toilet after the floor is done. A nail was pounded all the way through to our bedroom wall which broke a nice chunk of drywall, he didn't bother to tell me about this either. The install tech covered it with some spackle to patch it and now we have to have our bedroom painted because there is a golf ball size spackle patch in the middle of our bedroom wall. In addition, after the last repair visit now the basement light shines through our bathtub drain, yes there is light glowing through the drain from the basement light. They put one of the shower wall shelves on crooked, there is caulk missing from around the faucet which water will eventually drip down into. The initial window frame was cut incorrectly by accident so they ordered a new one, great but the new one still has crooked cuts but now slathered with caulk in effort to hide it. I had begged for a manager to come here to see the initial install and damages but no one would cared to come. Finally the install customer rep I had been speaking to has come out a couple of times and as helpful as she has tried to be, we are at our wits end with this company. I don't get calls, texts or emails returned in a timely manner. I'm talking several weeks later and that's if I keep calling, texting and emailing demanding return responses. I have been told multiple times that I will get a call back that day or the next day and I don't hear back for weeks. It's terrible customer service.
We will not be recommending this company to anyone and if fact, we will be telling our horror story to everyone. At this point, I think they feel like they got their money from us little people and they don't have to care about our little bathroom anymore. Like I said, this bathroom was a huge deal for us, we have waited over 20 years and I just wanted my little family to have a safe, new, fresh and clean bath tub. Now we more work to have done and we have all these other expenses that we did not plan on at this time because of Hanson's. It's very disheartening when you put your trust into a big company like Hanson's and your taken advantage of. I have pictures, and video of all of this. Clearly this company thinks that they can just ignore their customers after causing all these issues but that is not acceptable.

Hansons customer service is the worst
Hansons customer service is the worst I’ve ever experienced. We had a salesman give us a quote on new windows and we put down a deposit. The next week someone came out to measure and said they could not do what the salesman told us because of a structural issue. We were told someone would be reaching out to come back out and give us a new price on installing the windows a different way with supports in between. After a couple weeks of not hearing back I decided to call and see what was going on. I had to call 4 times over the span of a month and kept getting told every time that somebody from management would be reaching out. After still not hearing back for a month, I then called and asked for my deposit back. Someone from corporate, Deon Baldwin, reached out and said he would give us a substantial discount if we continued with them and assured me I wouldn’t have any more problems. He told me “you would have a better chance at winning the power ball than having another issue with us because once my name is on something it gets done." We continued to have the same exact issues after talking with him. He sent out someone to check on the structural issue the next day. The guy that came out said there would be no structural issue and they could continue with the original plan if we decided to stay with them. He said he would be calling me back in the next 2 hours with a new lower price for what we had dealt with. I never heard from him. I then called the guy from corporate multiple times and he told me they were still worried about the structural issue. I asked what the point was of sending the guy out to look at the issue if they weren't going to listen to his opinion. He then told me he would call me back in 20 minutes with a new price. I never heard from him. After multiple more calls, I didn't want to deal with them any longer and called and demanded my deposit back. I then called D&W windows and they quoted me almost half the price and said there would be no structural issue whatsoever. Hansons likes to claim they have the best warranty and that is why their prices are higher, but I couldn't imagine trying to get ahold of someone to actually come out if we needed something fixed.

Unprofessional salesman and highway robbery quoting prices
I didn’t even use this company and I wouldn’t recommend them. They sent out a sleezy salesman that quoted us at 45k for our roof. We have 100 y/0 house with 5 layers of shingles and needs a new subroof, so it’s worse case, but still nowhere close to 45k worth of work. The first quote we got was 20k less than that. The sales guy got an attitude as soon as we were shocked at the price, and proceeded to try and shake us down, told us no one else would come out here because of our location, that the ‘discounts’ would only last that day since we were going into a new month, and even went so far as to tell us we probably wouldn’t have even gotten approved when we told him we needed time to think about it. He knew it was only our second quote and we weren’t rushing to buy a new roof, so the aggressive sales pitch was unnecessary. I understand he works commission and this is his livelihood, but getting a new roof on our first home is our livelihood too, and we shouldn’t get harassed about buying a new roof when we are just getting quotes. Very unprofessional and the prices are highway robbery at best.
