On Sept 04, 2019 we had a est. And bought 7 windows from Hanson. Made a appointment to be have a measurement done. The day of the measurement. No one showed up at all. I called and talked to William in Saginaw Mi. About this issue. William told me that the person did came to measure my windows. William told me he had pictures of my address and mail box. Stating that I was the one not here. He Basically called me a liar. I was so angry. I wanted my deposit back. I then called a number and talked to the office manager. She looked and there where "no" pictures.

When I purchased the windows I was told they could be installed on a Saturday. When the windows came in that all changed no installs on Saturday. Then they had to come out 3 times before I was somewhat satisfied with the windows. Until I signed off on the financing they called me about 20 times a day even after I explained that I CANNOT be reached at work. They also proceeded to call my MOTHER as if she could do something about it. Never received my tablet as promised either.

The installation was terrible. You find out just what their guarantee means when you spend several days frantically calling the company, trying to get them to come back and fix what the installers screwed up, and everyone ignores you. I wish there was a way for me to attach the pictures I took, showing just how awful my oak trim looked after they left 23 nails sticking out of it. No one wants to pay that kind of money for work that looks like a 7-year-old did it. Don't let it happen to you.

I would give no stars if I could! We had a sliding door installed. Our installer said word for word. "We will replace it no matter what. You could take an hammer to it right in front of me and we would replace it, no cost to you ." Fast forward lass than 3 years. We have paid it off. We had a house fire in September. Well an axe was used to get in the back door. Our installer told us they would only cover the deductible! He claimed he told us that. Dont use this company. The point we were sold on was a lie. Not to mention the installer was obviously on something.

Worst experience ever. Have been lied to from the very beginning of the process. We were told that they pay for and cover all permits. We were told that the price of the permits is included in our quote. Not true. Now they want $110 to pay for the permits. When we were first quoted back in September we were told it would $96/month. Now we find out it's going to be $129/month instead. Were also supposed to get free tablet. Again that was in September. Here it is now December. We still don't have the tablet or a damn roof. If my girlfriend hadn't already paid for the permit without me knowing I would sure find another service. I do know that when it's time for my windows and siding it sure won't be Hansons. I WILL PERSONALLY NEVER RECOMMEND OR USE THEM AGAIN. Worst company I have ever dealt with. They shouldn't even be in business.

Absolute worst experience I have ever dealt with. Hired in May, put roof on in July, and never came back to install siding. No phone calls from them. No emails from them. I had to call to get the excuses and believe me there was no shortage of excuses. Marv Glazer is VP of customer relations. He has absolutely no people skills. Is very rude. And has no regard for customer satisfaction. Stay away from this company. As far away as you can. They are more expensive than their competitors. The sales rep lie like an old dirty rug. No organization. No customer service skills. Keep your cheap tablet.... the stress that you've caused myself and my family isn't worth it.

I had windows installed in June and here are the list of problems that occurred… 1) Subcontracted workers who looked like teenagers walking around with no shirts, no covering over their shoes in my house and blasting loud music INSIDE MY HOUSE. 2) They left broken glass and screws in the plants outside my windows. 3) They left a hole in one of the window screens 4) Tried calling Hansons numerous times and no one would help. 5) One month later kept hearing loud popping sound from a window. Days later it popped open on its own and wouldn’t shut. Someone did come out three days later. He fixed the hole, but only was able to close the open window and warned me not to open it because a “balancer” needed to be ordered. He said it’d take 6 weeks. It’s been months… 6) Been calling them since September. Talked to so many people who only tried to pacify me to shut me up. It didn’t work. 7) Day before Thanksgiving we had a big storm. Discovered water pouring into my bedroom from the window. Called Hansons and the lady said she’d put me in the schedule for the following Monday. Guess what? No one showed up. 8) Called again and dealt with the most rude people. The worst of all of them was the general manager. Who kept cutting me off and purposely eating in my ear. 9) Thankfully I’ve took pictures and videos of everything that has gone wrong. I’m considering pursuing legal action. BONUS: During the initial consultation the salesman bragged on how rich the CEO of Hansons was and how he takes many of his employees on these “lavish vacations.” So thanks Hansons…while you all are off on these “lavish” vacations some of your customers are here just waiting for you all to do your jobs. If you still decide to go with this company I WARN you to document any and everything that goes wrong!!

I had 4 windows replaced in 2013. Since then the window seals have failed 3 times. The previous 2 failures, I had to fight for repair of the issues and finally did get them done. This failure of the seals, the representative came out and stated it would take 6-8 weeks for replacement sashes. That was in July. I did email in October and was given the name and number of the person to contact, which I did. She told me that we could set a date for replacement. No date was set, I have emailed at least 5 times and called and left several messages for her with no reply or contact. It is now December. Their windows are terrible, they have leaked air, will not stay open in the summer and had to be propped. I got the triple pane to help with sound proofing. The worked for about a year then every sound outside, sounds like it is just outside the windows. The windows were advertised to keep the heat and cold out. They did for about a year then failed. I don't believe the windows are of good quality and Hansons service is terrible. I put in a bad review before when problems began to occur. I was contacted by phone by a man representing Hansons He was rude and told me that people like myself complain about everything. I advised him that my reviews are generally honest and I try to be positive. PLEASE be aware of Hansons practices as my experiences with them have not been good. One day after this review posted I received a call from the representative. He was very nice and had followed up on my complaint. I was assured the last window sash/ part was still on order and I would receive a call or notification when everything was ready to install. I am greatly appreciative to know that hopefully soon my windows will be fixed.
