I recently had siding done before covid arrived. I gave the a deposit on 7/31/2019. After many phone calls and being told they were still waiting for materials the siding was finally completed in November. The siding was supposed to be vertical on the front they did it horizontally which they fixed the same day. the shutters how ever took three tries to get right of which I now have extra holes in my brick. The contractor that installed the siding said they didn't have issues getting supplies but Hanson's can't get and keep people to do the work. And then when spring came I needed some warranty repairs done which meant ordering material which now because of covid took forever then when they did come in set up an appointment and the contractor NO SHOWED no phone call, set up a second appointment one guy showed up said he couldn't do the repairs alone had to reschedule again which meant I now waisted two days of my time. Hanson's did our roof and windows with no issues what so ever. I ques now that the company has been sold they have NO cares about customer service. I will NEVER recommend Hanson's to any one!!

I have had a patio door, with one pane having a fault fracture. In July I notified them, the panel was not ordered they said until August. I went to the website and emailed them, they said it had not come in, that has been over two weeks ago and it is coming up November. They blame lack of communication on the covid, but if is working from home, phones should get answered. Terrible business communication. Right from the get go as the sales person, said call if you need anything. I will never do business with them again.

Very disappointed. Need a new roof. Hansons was my 3rd estimate and 16,000???? On a double wide manufactured home??? Makes no sense when I was getting estimates between 6-7000. And very disappointed that no one came out to look at the roof. They looked at my roof through satillite? Very unprofessional.

I ordered their windows. A guy came and measured my windows about 6 weeks before they would come in to install. Install day came(which I was told they would all be installed in one day. which I had taken the day off). The installer looked at my windows, walked back to his truck and then I could tell he was upset. The guy who came and measured my windows had measured them wrong(according to the installer, this was not the first time he measured wrong. He had done it many times before). He called his boss and told him what was going on. He had to re size my window openings to make the windows to fit. It ended up taking 4 days to install the windows. I had to take 3 more days off. I asked them to take some money off the price of the windows for me losing wages for those 3 days and was told they would not do that. Update: 5-6 yrs later. 2 of the windows, the seals had failed and aloud moisture in between the window panes(I bought the higher end just below commercial grade, which are supposed to be guaranteed for life). I have called several times to have them fix or replace the windows. Their complaint line only gets you to a voicemail system. They have never called me back. I tried calling the sales line and just get put on hold and no one comes back on. I WOULD NEVER RECOMMEND THEIR SERVICES!

Not happy at all. They were suppose to be at our house between 4-6 and never showed up. We never got a call either saying they weren't going to be able to make it out that night. When my husband called the next day they never apologized or said sorry.

When I decided to use Hansons as my contractor. I had no idea that they contracted out their work to small contractors. I expected a professional crew from Hansons with a Hansons logo pulling in the drive. What I got was a contractor from my area with their company logo with 4 or 5 guys pulling their shirts off and going up on the roof. Then soon after they started I’m in my house and hear screaming and cussing at each other. I go outside I had two guys on my roof just about to start fighting, one was threatening to throw the other one off the roof, I thought real nice professional work. I work road construction with a large well known company in the area. It gets really hot working in the dead of summer on 300 degree asphalt. Nobody in our company takes their shirt off, and when we are working in neighborhoods we make sure there is no cussing. It’s just not professional and you never know when the little one’s are within hearing range. The quality of work was average, I spent the rest of the summer picking up nails and pieces of shingles out of my bushes and grass. Not recommended you just don’t know what is going to pull in you driveway.

Hired Hanson’s to put on a new roof. Would not recommend. After 2 hours with sales guy, we signed contract. Spoke to office staff 5 times. Every time they called to send the guys out I asked about building permit. We got the run around. Staff do not talk to one another. Be aware and do your due diligence. We ended up getting our township involved to cover our own butt. Was told by sales person not a problem to have our dish put back up by them, we would just have to have dish come align it. Not true, once the crew installed our roof we then were told our warranty would not be any good. Which was a contradiction from the sales man. An last but not least I initialed 21 places on the contract of which 16 of them were useless Hanson’s did not hold true to. Buyer beware.

They are beginning the install of my new roof today. Make sure you understand what you are buying from them up front. Also have several other contractors look at the job also. The oops we did not talk about that when it is a normal part of a roof bid game does not cut it with me. You pay big dollars for their roofing and my nightmares began at the delivery of the product to the pass the buck phone calls. Roof isn't done and hopefully I have no more to add when complete but when I read the complaints it scares the crap out of me. My suggestion is to use someone else! Well putting paper and shingles on in the rain which voids the warranty. Control your inventory and be prepared for the next phase. Take plenty of pictures and Hansons does not come out and look during the job because they cannot blame their subs for it then.For the price you would expect far better craftsmanship.
