Mike, the Hale technician, did everything right! He called to let me know when he would arrive. He installed the new external frame and flap and did a PERFECT job. My pet door was installed in July of 2004 and is in perfect condition, except that I have had to replace the external flap three times due to shrinkage caused by exposure to the sun. I wish Hale would come up with a UV resistant flap, as replacement is expensive.

Love our Hale Pet Door which we've owned for 11 years and are just now needing to replace the outer plastic flap and weather seal. Whole unit has held up well against 2 large dogs, 11 years of heavy use, and numerous kids who love to use the door as well.

After 5 years it was time to replace a door, tearing at the hinge. It was so easy to order the correct replacement and I switched it out in 10 minutes. Hale gave me the perfect solution for my big dogs and long work days, keeping my house safe and warm too. This is a great company.

This is my second in wall Hale pet door. The first was for my two beautiful Beagles, Benny and Clyde. They both past away recently. We were not going to get another dog as the grieving has been so hard. But we found a stray and he has been back to the shelter 4 times so we decided to keep him. He's huge so I needed a bigger door.

Flaps were shipped with replacement weather stripping and magnets. The Hale website has videos instructions which made the removal of the old flaps and installation of the new flaps easier.

I have had two sets of Springer Spaniels. Axel and Oskar have used it for two years, and Sven and Ole used it for 8 years before them. I love it, leave it available to them 24 hr a day. It is great. No drafts in winter. Gary Hanson

We ordered replacement flaps for our custom made pet door that fits in one of our french door panels. We ordered our pet door 9 years ago and Hale Pet Door still had our original order which made it very easy to order the replacement flaps in the correct size. They were a perfect fit.
