Assalamualikum, since you mentioned earlier that it’s refundable and going to refund the money on October. As of now I am still waiting for the refunds and I am not getting any responses on messages or emails. Inshaallah we all believe in Allah.

Worst experience- never Again wallahi
I booked through this company for premium package.
Extremely extremely disappointed.
1- their prices are way higher than market rates
2- if any difficulty or issues arrive with bookings or travel plans, they absolutely just walk away and you are on your own.
I had $8000/- 1 person package and service was awful.
3- i had second time booked with them for just visa and not full package. The people charged double for the visa . They were not transparent that us citizens have visa on arrival.
Then the guy didn’t get me the visa on time.i boarded flight without visa when he just asked me to get it on arrival.
And since 2024 ramadaan, to this day, nov 2025, i have been following up with them for refund and they just keep me on the hook without any progress. They are not refunding the money eventhough i had texts from their employee that it will be immediately refunded but they never did . May Allah burn their business and money that they earn with cheating.
May that money be of no use that they accumulate through stealing.
I am gonna make dua that this money stand against them in Akhirah and May Allah make them pay for it in akhirah.
I told them my brother passed away. Please just followup and return , but no.
I kept emailing , calling texting, they want me to get tired n forget. Allah never forgets.
They are in business for umrah and haj, and subhanAllah they find it okay to cheat.
Think if huzoor mohammadd SAW would have been okay with this? If umar RA would have tolerated this injustice and cheating.
Allah knows you guys exploit and then extremely difficult to get in tough with if there are issues.
Will never book through this company again.

Please be aware of this company
Please be aware of this company. This company has zero customer service. They use AutoCorrect and grammar check to write professional messages. They are very rude and pushy; they want you to purchase the package without even getting into details. They wanted me to transfer money straight into the account. That was the red flag for me. They made you seem like you're not worth anything. They go by what work you do and what vehicle you drive so they could give you a high price according to that. In general, this company is a scam. I am lucky to not have to deal with them, but I've read previous reviews, and I'm sure I would have had a hard time trying to deal with this if I had issues with my package. Going to the holy land? Do you want a piece of mind with everything covered, but this company gives you a hard time? Very unprofessional, so save some time and go to someone that deserves your business? Funny how there was no issue when I first mention I’m from the U.S and the company is based in Chicago which was mention by Farhad and now out of sudden they are based UK. I received a call directly from a U.S. maybe they are using third party app to generate us number. I have screen shot of the conversation via what’s app as proof and this company Hajar Travel are no one liars
Response from Zaitoon umrahAug 28, 2025
Thank you very much. However, since you mentioned your side of the story being the company representative I have the responsibility to address any concerns.
Lets discuss red flags first. The most alarming thing in your message is the fact that you're based out of the UK, whereas, none of our marketing or sales team works in the UK region. We only and solely serve UK and Canadian clients and only deal in that geographical location. All of a sudden, out of no where, somebody from the UK approached us and without becoming a client allegedly makes a lot of claims.
Secondly, I will be more than glad to provide the screenshots of the entire conversation to you, other prospective clients and even to the team of Trustpilot and leave it to their judgement to decide what is the real deal here.
Thirdly, a lot of progressing companies face this usual and 'cheap' tactics from their companies where a senior representative, when start to collapse under pressure and cant face the competition would eventually take this unethical route to try and demoralize the prospects, teams and even the business.
We tried to contact you immediately and brought the entire team in scrutiny to figure out if anything that has been said was offensive or unethical. And sadly, we couldn't find anything at all.
Your name and other details as provided are not only wrong but teaches a lot of businesses and respectable prospective clients to keep an eye out and not to jump to any conclusion without doing due diligence.
I again would like to take this opportunity and request you to reach out to us and let us know as to how and what exactly has been said wrong and if it is the case, strict actions will be against the concern employee.
Much thanks

Absolutely Horrible Experience
Absolutely Horrible Experience - Fraudulent Company, False Promises, and Still No Refund I don't usually write reviews, but I feel obligated to warn others about the nightmare we went through.
What was supposed to be a luxurious, once-in-a-lifetime trip turned into an extremely stressful and disappointing experience, all thanks to this company and their total lack of honesty and professionalism.
We booked what was advertised as a 5-star hotel package, with clear promises of specific accommodations, including a Kaaba view, which we paid extra for. However, upon arrival, we were not given the hotel we booked, nor the view we paid for.
Instead, we were forced into entirely different hotels
— ones we did not choose and that were far below the standard we had paid for. These hotels didn't meet 5-star expectations by any stretch of the imagination.
It didn't stop there. Our meals were supposed to be included in the package, but when we got there, we were told we needed to pay for them out of pocket.
We were assured by the representatives that we would be reimbursed, so we went ahead and paid - over $6,000 in total. It's now been weeks, and I'm still chasing them for that money. Every time I contact them, they either ignore me or give me some new excuse. I am starting to believe we will never get that money back.
The entire experience feels like we were scammed.
They lied about everything — the hotel quality, the meals, the view, and the support we would receive.
They promised luxury and delivered nothing close.
This company is fraudulent, plain and simple. They lure you in with polished marketing and false promises, only to change everything once you've already paid and arrived.
It was humiliating and distressing to deal with this during such an important trip. We trusted them, and they took advantage of that trust. I strongly advise anyone considering booking with them to stay far away. Save your money, your time, and your peace of mind — this company is not worth the risk.

SCAMMERS! FRAUD! They are not valid travel agents or agency!
SCAMMERS!!! FRAUD!!!MANIPULATORS!!!LIERS!!!
Despite booking a 5-star hotel room with food services, I was disappointed to discover that my reservation had not been confirmed, and no food arrangements were in place. My family, which includes elderly parents and young children, was kept waiting for hours before being allocated poor-quality accommodations. I was shocked to find that the food I had paid for had not been arranged.
Their fabricated excuses and lies clearly expose potential consumer protection issues.
They made up excuses for not providing services, and were unresponsive when I tried to get a refund for about a month now.
STAY AWAY FROM THEM.

Shameful Deception by Hajar Travel / Umrah Lodges – We Were Lied To and Abandoned After Paying $31,500
I’m writing this as Sohaib Ashraf on behalf of my wife Farwa, our 11-month-old baby Fatima, and my entire extended family who entrusted Hajar Travel (also operating as Umrah Lodges and Umrah and International Tourism) with a $31,500 Umrah package. We were promised a premium experience — what we got was a shameful bait-and-switch.
We wired the full amount to their Albany, NY office in December 2024 — and in return, we were told we would get:
• 5-star hotels in Makkah and Madinah (including Swissôtel Makkah Clock Tower and Anwar Al Madinah Mövenpick)
• Kabah-view rooms
• Full hotel meal packages
• Seamless service, including help on the ground
What actually happened? The hotels were NOT what we paid for. Rooms were downgraded. Meals were not included. The “Kabah-view” rooms were a joke, we were lucky to even get clean rooms. We had to pay out of pocket for every meal with a promise that we’d be reimbursed later. That never happened. I have every receipt, every text, every voicemail, and even a hotel voucher confirming the lies in writing.
I traveled with my infant daughter and my elderly mother and this company left us scrambling in a foreign country, without the services we paid top dollar for. The hotels they booked were cheaper alternatives, and the difference in quality was obvious. When we asked questions, they vanished.
What’s worse? The company has been completely avoiding all follow-ups since our return. No one answers calls. WhatsApp messages are read but ignored. The same agent, Muhammad Ali, who was so responsive before the payment, has now ghosted us. I even have screenshots and voice notes confirming every step of their promises.
We have since:
• Filed a formal complaint with the New York Division of Consumer Protection
• Begun a fraud report with TD Bank and Bank of America
• Initiated steps to report them to the NY Attorney General’s office
• Saved all documents, tickets, hotel vouchers, and messages for legal action
This wasn’t just a business failing, this was a religious betrayal. To scam someone during an Umrah pilgrimage, especially with elders and a baby involved, is disgusting.
I strongly urge anyone considering using Hajar Travel, Umrah Lodges, or any agency tied to this group to STAY AWAY. What they did was not just unprofessional, it was fraudulent, unethical, and deeply offensive to the spirit of this sacred journey.
We are actively pursuing full legal restitution. And we will not stop until these scammers are held accountable.
They don’t even deserve one star.

Buyer Beware
Good Afternoon,
I booked a 4 Star Package for Feb 2025. We were supposed to stay in Saja Al Madinah Hotel near the Masjid Al Nabawi. Unfortunately, that was not where the company put us. So, we were forced to get a different hotel. After talking with Shazim at Hajar, I was supposed to get a credit for $111. It has been 4 weeks and no sign of the credit. I would not recommend them .
I am going to write a full review of Hajar Travels-4 Star Package.
In Dec 2024, Hajar Travels ran a promotion for a 7 Night 4 Star Package for $1495. In the package it stated Novotel Makkah for 4 Nights and Saja Al Madinah for 3 Nights. The exact dates for travel were 2/12/2025-2/21/2025. The flight was normal, flew on Etihad Roundtrip. A day before the trip, a WhatsApp chat was created called Feb Four Star Group, in it were instructions for who our group leader was upon landing and also the transportation company that was in charge of picking us up. Per the instructions, upon landing at 4:30 pm in Jeddah, the transportation company will be picking us up from Baggage Claim. Unfortunately that did not happen, the driver that was sent only picked up one of the 4 passengers because he thought all 4 names were one name. It took the transportation company another hour to get another vehicle to pick me up. During this time, I found out 2 other passengers on the flight were part of the same Umrah Group. So, a handler came inside the Airport (we were by Zain-Mobile Carrier), then he took us outside to our driver. Then the driver drives about 10 minutes outside of the airport and tells us to get out and into another car, where another driver will drive us from Jeddah to Makkah. Mind you all of this is going on while we are in Ihram. We finally make it to the hotel in Makkah around 8 pm. The group leader then informs us that we will be going to Umrah at midnight. Truth be told, that was the best thing he did for us since it was a Thursday night going into Friday. Our Mutawif came around 11:30 and we were 9 people in the group. Mind you the entire group is from America, none of us speak Urdu. The reason this is important is because our Mutawif did not speak any English, Arabic (the only Arabic he knew was Talbiyaa), just Urdu. So communication became an issue because we had to rely on hand signals. Once you do the Umrah in a Group, it becomes easier thereafter and you do not have to rely on the group leader. On the fifth day, we went to Madina. Once we arrived at Medina, the hotel we were dropped off in was called "Artal Taiba Hotel". On its best day , the hotel is probably a 3 star hotel. The issue with the hotel were as follows, it was not near the Masjid Al Nabawi, about a 25 minute walk with only transportation to the masjid at salat times. In comparison the Saja Al Madinah was less than a 5 min from the Masjid. The lobby in Artal had a bathroom, but the only way to access the bathroom was via Key Card. As soon as we arrived, the entire group was complaining to the Group Leader feeling as though they had been tricked. While they were arguing, I went to go pray Maghrib in the hotel's prayer room as there was no way we would make it to the masjid to pray Maghrib. Once I finished praying, I contacted Hajar and voiced my displeasure at the circumstances we were in. I informed him that, this is not what was in the package and will be looking for another hotel. We were about 14 people of the group of 40 that left the hotel and ended up staying at Saja Al Madinah Hotel. I contacted Hajar during my trip and informed them the bait and switch tactic is unprofessional and asked for a refund of $111. I waited over 4 weeks with nothing from them. So, I initially posted the Buyer Beware post. After the post, I was contacted that I would get the $111 if and only if I took down my post. So, here we are. Also, if I am able to upload videos of the Taiba Hotel and the group chat between me and Hajar, let me know. These travel agencies use multiple names:
