GyftReviews of gyft.com

My daughter was over for the weekend so, I decided to buy a gift card. I used my paypal account to buy a TGIFriday card. To make a long story short we"re done with dinner, waiter comes over NO FUNDS on card. Card was just purchased. Stay clear from this company...

I'm going to add to the negative reviews that are piling up here about Gyft. My beef with them is about recent changes that Gyft has made to its mobile app. Without notifying customers, Gyft arbitrarily decided to place a monthly limit on the number of gift cards that can be uploaded into their wallet. No warning was given, and no rationale was offered. Instead, Gyft's service-droid helpfully told me, "The users who have reached the upload limit and have contacted support are being advised of this recent change." So you only find out when you complain! Good one, Gyft. Here's a well-deserved one-star review.

They take all your personal information and then do not deliver. Horrible service, do not return phone calls (they will only take messages), the emails service might happen but they put you into an endless loop of sending them more personal information,,,and never getting what they advertise they have!!! THE worst company I have ever dealt with...period!!!

I signed up and purchased an AMAZON gift card via my PayPal account (ie using Gyft).. They withdrew the money from PayPal immediately but 4 days later, NO Amazon gift card, no email, nothing., No phone number on their useless website and there is no screen showing my purchase (and its status) on their iOS app or on their website.. AVOID at all cost.. You've been warned.

Have had account suspended for a while due to error on their side. I have sent about 8 emails over weeks with little to no luck (if I even get a response back). I still do not have access to my points I've accrued and am not able to buy any new cards.

Gyft required a lot of information, which I didn't mind giving. Having successfully purchased via PayPal before, I tried to place an order with BTC. The transaction received several confirmations but I got no indication in my account that the order even existed. I placed another order (despite the first being completed) and this time the status was "awaiting confirmation." They need to be more careful explaining the process and giving estimates on how many confirmations they require. I'd avoid.

Signing up with your email, confirming your email, giving them your cell phone number, verifying your cell phone number, connecting your profile to facebook, paying with paypal is all NOT enough for verification on this scam site. They charged me for a gift card and then suspended my account so I don't have any access to the gift card I just bought. Now to activate your account, they ask you to send them a copy of your driving license or passport!!! How crazy is that?? No need to try and call them, they don't pick up the phone: first it's "all operators are busy", then - "leave a message and we will call you back". TOTAL SCAM!!

They charged my credit card for a gift card, then suspended my account and will not provide the gift card code. They requested copies of my driver's license, passport, and other personal information AFTER I bought the gift card and are holding the gift card hostage to try to get me to submit the unnecessary and extremely personal information. This site is a complete and utter scam. Beware!!!
