A family member gifted me and my husband $200 to our favorite restaurant. The literal day after we received it, the spot closed down. We asked Gyft if we could use that credit towards somewhere else— since they already got paid for the gift card and we cannot use it. They refused.

If I could go lower than one I would. Horrible experience got a $500 gift card from dealership for buying a vehicle. tried to claim it from gyft card. says I need to verify my email address try to do that and it just keeps looping me back to the sign in page then to you need to verify. Even though on my account page it claims I'm verified. Can't any service dept help. Contacted the dealership to see if they could help or at the least they should get their money back because I'm done with them. So far they haven't called back figure they aren't getting anywhere either.

Couldn't validate my card at restaurant i had the gift card for. Difficult to use and I ended up using a credit card.

> Impossible to check gift card balance on website. > Forces you to download mobile app instead. > Gyft mobile app doesn't exist.

The business for which the gyft card was for closed and Gyft refuses to do something about getting the money back or moved to a different business. They just don't seem to care.

After loading $90 CAD on an existing gift card, I go to use it at the restaurant and it comes back invalid. When I try to download the Gyft app it says not available in Canada. There support doesn't have an option for resolving gift card issues, so I now realize I've been SCAMMED.

Maybe the worst app ever invented at least for receiving a gift certificate. (1) who needs another app! Especially to receive a gift. So I down load the app; get the certificate that has a QR code for the restaurant. So then the restaurant has to TAKE MY PHONE somewhere to scan the QR code. So there goes my phone, completely unlocked, to who knows where and handled by how many people? Let’s think about information bring stolen or viewed? And how about germs? Totally ridiculous. I deleted the app and told my giver to NEVER, EVER use that again!

DO NOT USE! If there is a problem/error on their part, it appears they have no way to fix it. Word of caution to all potential customers, buyer beware! I share the same experience as Jack on February 21, 2024 except I was the purchaser of a gift card for my daughter.
