Muy decepcionado con Gumroad. Como creador pequeño, básicamente te retienen el dinero indefinidamente hasta llegar a 100 $, sin importar tu situación ni las veces que contactes con soporte. Tengo dinero ganado legítimamente bloqueado en la plataforma y la única respuesta que recibes son mensajes automáticos repetidos una y otra vez diciendo que “es la política”. Cero flexibilidad y cero ayuda para creadores pequeños.

Mucho cuidado!! Me di de alta como vendedora, subí varios productos descargables, realicé varias ventas y justo el día antes que me tenían que abonar lo facturado me cerraron la cuenta sin posibilidad de apelación posible. Así en más, los clientes se descargaron los productos, ellos se quedaron con el dinero y yo me quedé con cara de tonta. Una ESTAFA en toda regla.

They quietly changed the minimum payout threshold without telling you, and now my money is stuck with them, and I can't withdraw it!! It used to be just $10, but out of nowhere, they increased it to $100. I am a small seller who has only made $40 on the platform in the past year, and now I can't even withdraw that amount because of the new threshold! Even though I want to close my account and move my products away, I also can't do that because they won't pay the remaining balance! If I close the account with any remaining balance, they consider it as if I gave up on my money, and they will never pay me. At this point, they just want to hold your money hostage. Lowkey a scamming tactic! I regret signing up for this platform.

My name is Abdenbi Elhairch. Yesterday, I proactively alerted Gumroad support about suspicious activity involving an Arabic-speaking user using a US-based account. I noticed this user was able to access the review section without purchasing the product, which contradicts the platform's rules where a purchase is required to leave a review. Furthermore, this individual posted abusive and insulting comments directed at my family in the review section. I contacted support immediately to report this breach and requested the removal of that fraudulent review. To my shock, I woke up this morning to find my account suspended and my earnings frozen. The reason provided was the use of "stolen payment methods," which actually confirms my previous warning about the suspicious user. I have already reached out to support to prove that I am a legitimate seller with real sales. I submitted my government ID, details of my digital products, and even messages from my actual customers who were confused by sudden refunds. I also shared all the positive feedback from my clients and a link to my Facebook page used for marketing. Despite all this evidence, I have received no human response. I am only getting automated bot replies, and it seems my ban was triggered by an algorithm error. Unfortunately, I feel deceived by this platform after being a proactive and honest creator.

Purchased a product which was completely mis-sold and overhyped. $72 for a bunch of useless PDFs. Not happy, the seller isn't even responding to my messages. Refund otherwise i'll be contacting my bank for a reversal and i'll be leaving gumroad 1-star review on all review sites with proof of my complaint. This is ridiculous that I'm having to chase this up!

Paid for a product I didn't receive. The money went out of my account but the product never showed up in my library. Tried contacting support several times and after initially saying they didn't receive the money yet, they stopped replying. I wanted confirmation that they never received my money so I could ask my bank to figure out where it went but they never replied after the first e-mail. The creator was kind enough to gift me the product after the whole ordeal but Gumroad was very unhelpful.
