GumroadReviews of gumroad.com

I had 3 products registered on Gumroad. Just when I succeeded in my first 2 sells, they suspended my account without any prior warning or explanation! When I contacted their support, they didn't even bother to explain what did I do to be suspended, they just said "Our risk models detected behaviors in your Gumroad account that are considered fraudulent by our banking partners' standards.". No explanations, no concrete facts, absolutely nothing to substantiate such a bold statement. Unbelievable! Of course, they didn't give me my money neither. Gumroad is either a scam company or totally unprofessional! I would not recommend anybody to work with them! They are stealing your money!

as a seller on Gumroad i feel really disappointed with them i have had so many people make a fake gmail then buy my products (that i have spent months working on) then dispute it right after. they win the dispute every single time i have lost so much money because of people like that they don't realize how affective this is to us sellers if gumroad did not hold our money for two weeks we would not be having this problem!! they need to stop holding our money its very unnecessary and a waste of time and on top of all that they take most of what we make gumroad is not a good website to use when selling digital products there is a lot of thieves on there if your looking into becoming a seller id recommend (payhip, shopify etc.) avoid gumroad at all costs please! its a waste of time and money

absolute d o g s h i t of a company

Worst business ever!!!!!! This is a scam don't use gumroad

I bought a theme, I asked for help, but they did not help, and I was not satisfied with the theme, I paid for it, I asked for a refund, but nothing but an automatic message was sent, it said that it can be returned, they are very uninterested, I had a problem with a refund for the first time on a site, I want my problem to be solved

I first purchased a 3 month package called Elliot Waves Count which the author canceled my subscription after 5 days and I no longer received anything even if payed for 3 months. I contact them and they didn't want to admit that and I needed to fill a dispute with Revolut to have my money back. After 4 months they still don't want to give my money back. An that is not all, today I received an email from them saying they restarted my subscription and I was charged again with another money from my card. I never restart or renew anything with them. They literally stealing money from people. I cannot believe this is happening. I hope as many people will see this and avoid this scam site.

This company is a clownshow. I started an account there to try selling some of my work online, and see how I like it. I accidentally posted my first post 3 or 4 times because I didn't realize it posted, and they suspended my account for "gaming google search results." They now won't unsuspend my account after days of emailing back with them for no good reason. Good luck to anyone trying to work with these stooges.

They charge VAT on ebooks sold in the UK, which are zero-rated and therefore legally no VAT is due. Where does that extra 20% tax go?
