I wish I could not even leave a star. I bought my sofa and a chair from Haverty’s and it looks awful now. They sold me this as if it would cover anything. The furniture I paid over 4,000 for now looks awful. All the sudden they do not cover "normal wear and tear". I've had since 2021. In 2023 it looks worn out. I filed a claim and they denied it. Also, upset with Haverty’s for selling me something and it covers NOTHING. BUYER BEWARE! DO NOT PURCHASE!

Doesn't even merit 1 star!!! Horrible service I'm pretty sure my 4 year old niece can do better!! Made a claim and I am still waiting to hear back from them....was put on hold for 1hr only to have the line hang up on me!! Does anyone even work there besides for Maria in customer service who was really no help at all!! These things should not be that complicated I paid for a service and I expect the service not that complicated....horrible service at best!

Would rate as zero if an option. Paid for 5 year warranty and 4.5 years into it, noticed a few water rings on the kitchen table. Submitted claim and No response. called 3 weeks into it and rep snarkily says "we have 30 days to acknowledge it". I got acknowledgement 1 wee later, then 3 weeks later a denial. Reason stated: mandatory to turn in claim within 30 days of the issue. I had missed that, and naively told them my best guess, which was a July Birthday party six months earlier. Absolutely worthless

Terrible service. I bought this service from Nebraska Furniture Mart with my outdoor patio furniture and umbrella. The button fell off one of my outdoor cushions a few months after purchase. It took them 6 MONTHS to come out to fix it and basically a guy just sewed it back on rather than actually making it look like the others. Now, our umbrella has broken. I called them at the beginning of April, it's now the end of June, and they have just sent me some options. The umbrella was more than $1,000. They will pay me $180 and we keep the umbrella. They will have NFM bring a new umbrella and take the old umbrella (BUT WE HAVE TO PAY THE DELIVERY CHARGES). Or they can have NFM bring a new umbrella (we still pay delivery charges) and we can pay Guardsman $270 to keep our broken umbrella. Sure - sounds like a GREAT deal and well worth the significant amount of money we paid for it. I feel scammed by NFM as much as Guardsman. They told us it pretty much covers everything - anything broken or stained. I have also submitted for some stains on the chairs - all denied. DO NOT PURCHASE!!!

any excuse not to pay your claim a complete waste of money

Bought guardsman for my couch and had 2 claims nothing is covered . It’s accidental like take a knife and puncture your couch and make sure you call within the time frame or else ! Now I’m not going to do that because I have morals but basically that’s it. My frame is warped after 20 months, my couch is leaning and my cushions look terrible. No kids no pets. Not only didn’t the couch hold up $2100 Havertys with such minimal use but the guardsman is a rip off don’t be talked into it.

I wish I could give them 0 stars. I purchased guardsman furniture warranty with all of our new furniture and we submitted a claim for several of our dining chairs and they denied them. They will come up with any excuse to not cover your repairs/replacements. Such a waste of money. I would never purchase the protection plan again. I am only happy that we bought from Havertys because they are honoring the warranty that Guardsman is not.

Bought a sofa with a footstool. One part of the footstool wasn't working. Called on 1st week of April 2023, the inspection was booked for Mid May 2023, and part was ordered and expected to come in July 2023. Afterward, I will be booked for fixing (maybe 4-6 weeks again). Basically, it's a tiny hydraulic part. I am so annoyed that one little fix will take basically 4-5 months (still not done and waiting for the part). Thankfully nothing is wrong with Sofa. I can't stand how slow the system is. Nowadays anything you want can be delivered from one country to another very quickly. but 2 months to deliver a part is unexpected and unaccepted. This is our first time buying anything with Dfs but not again. 100% unhappy. I would rather give 0 stars for the service. I will update this post as they progress.
