Please whatever you do, do not buy this protection plan. Customer service is a nightmare and they don't follow up on any claims. My claim was denied even though I looked up the policy on the website and it says it is covered. I called to check the status and they told me they sent me a denial email that I never got but somehow got all the other emails. They said mine only covered food and beverage and biological stains but the salesperson who sold this to me told me otherwise. The website also mentions other covered stains but refused to help. This is a scam.

I took their protection plan through one of Store and in between their contract with Store was changed. when i claim my service request for Recliner, they refuned my protection plan money back. One of account manager share their hidden clause which i never received in past "5.1.4. Refund: If We are unsuccessful in repairing the stain or damage to Your Furniture and We are unable to provide a Replacement, or Reselection for example, the retail store location where You bought the Plan has closed, no longer carries Guardsman Plans, changed ownership, or stopped selling Furniture, or You have moved from the original store location’s operating area since Your purchase, We will provide You a Refund of the purchase price of the Plan rather than a Replacement or Reselection. A Refund will complete Guardsman’s obligations under this Plan for all Furniture covered by this Plan." Please careful with these cheaters.

Do not pay a single penny for this company. It is a scam. You can never claim anything back from them. They make it EXTREMELY difficult for you to get in touch and to get anything back from them. AVOID at all cost.

Absolute toilet, waste of money and not fit for purpose. Had an engineer out that wrongly diagnosed my recliner sofa so had to start another claim, still awaiting a part after four months. I've continuously chased and got told this morning I'll be waiting another six weeks as there's been a delay on the delivery/parts. Absolute waste of money and I'm on way to furniture village now to speak to the branch manager

A scam, I took insurance out with them and it’s impossible to make a claim. I have sent emails which have not been answered. When you ring the phone number it leaves you on hold then disconnects each time. Have no contact with anybody over the two weeks I have tried to process a claim. Stay well away

They deny claims that should be covered! They make everything extremely difficult and I can't reach anyone or find my original policy. When I called customer service they wouldn't even tell me what was covered by my specific plan. I specifically bought it because I have 4 pets and now they won't cover the damage that should be covered. Big waste of money! Very unhappy with customer service.

Absolute worst policy you can buy for any furniture. We got this on an expensive suite for our home and was mis-sold this by DFS. We attempted a claim when our recliner mechanism broke and snapped. We where told that the cover doesn’t cover any kind if manufacturer faults and now the sofa is out of warranty with DFS. Complete waste of money and time. Lesson learnt.

Business scam. I submitted photos and a description of my broken dresser for an estimate to be repaired. They sent back a financial estimate and scheduled a time for a technician to come out to preform repairs. They have a disclaimer/agreement that if the technician needs to come back a second time to finish repairs there will be a $65 charge for returning to the site, but if the repairs were completed the first visit it would be waived. The technician reviewed photos I sent to him, came out with NO equipment, took a photo of my dresser and told me it could not be repaired. They charged me $70 for nothing. This was a scam to get money as the estimate and description stated they would do work during the visit. He did not attempt to fix anything and was there less than 2 minutes. Another company fixed my dresser with no issues in about an hour for half the cost of the estimate. Judging by other reviews this is a common tactic to get people's money and view their homes to do zero work. Needs to be shut down.
